Werewolf!Reader X Mabel

Awhoo! The howl of wolves resounded in the dark night of Gravity Falls. Shadows of the furred mammal ran through the forests as some rested on top of rocky cliffs. Their dark yet bright eyes reflected the surroundings, making their eyes glow in the dark like millions of sparkling stars in the night sky. Mabel rested her chin on her propped up palms as she gazed out of the window of her room, enjoying the low and melodious howls of the wolves. Dipper was asleep in his bed. The room was dark. The only thing lighting up the room was the bright full moon hanging in the dark sky. It was peaceful and tranquil, it calmed Mabel. As she slowly blinked to fight the drowsyness, another howl came from outside. It was a wolf's howl, but a clear human's voice was mixed in with it. 'I wonder, do werewolves exist?' With that thought, Mabel closed the windows and laid in her bed, letting sleep consume her.

"Hey Mabel, check this out!" Dipper exclaimed, which ushered Mabel towards him. Both of them had went off on an adventure to look for this mysterious furred human that roams around Gravity Falls. In the book, it's stated that every few years, a human with hairy body, sharp wolf ears and a bushy tail would appear. So, Dipper wanted to try his luck and ventured out in search of the mentioned human, with Mabel tagging along. Currently, both twin were standing in a particular empty patch of the forest while having their gaze directed to the ground.

"Are you thinking...what I'm thinking, Dipper?" Mabel questioned in excitement.

"I sure think I am," Dipper chuckled, flipping through his book. When he flipped to the page he wanted, he placed it on the ground to compare. Both on the book and the ground were a similar human foot with claws at its nails. "It's a match."

"Yahoo!! We found it!" Mabel cheered, skipping around. Dipper tied a red ribbon on a nearby tree.

"Alright, time to head back," Dipper stated as he started to leave. Mabel stopped jumping and looked at Dipper weirdly.

"B-but, we just found a clue! Shouldn't we continue the search?" Mabel asked frantically. Dipper sighed.

"Have you ever seen a werewolf in the day?" Seeing Mabel's expression of realisation, Dipper laughed. "So we'll wait till night. We'll need Grunkle Stan's permission to venture out after dusk." A smile immediately popped up on Mabel's features as she quickly ran ahead of Dipper.

"Well then, quick! We need to get that permission now!" Mabel bounced up and down as she skipped back to the Mystery Shack. Dipper sighed and shook his head as the corners of his mouth lifted with a smile.

"Wait for me then!" Dipper shouted to Mabel, running after her.

"What do you mean 'no'?" Mabel shrieked.

"No means no. Your parents told me to take care of you, not get you two killed. Besides, it'd be dangerous in the night, you two already know how crazy Gravity Falls is," Stan explained. Mabel huffed and pouted, stomping away.

"I hate you, Grunkle Stan!"

"Yeah, love ya too, Mabel," Stan called back her as the sound of door slamming could be heard. Stan laughed awkwardly as he turned to Dipper who was by the sidelines. "Go...comfort your sister, for me."

"Ok..." Dipper answered slowly, before heading off towards the twin's shared room.

Stan sighed before turning back to the television and continued watching the programs with his back resting against the couch.
