"Will you hold me now~ Hold me now~ My frozen heart~ [Winter Love by Olivia Lufking]" Yusa sang under her breath along with the song being played in the mall as she sat on a bench by a fountain. She licked her vanilla ice cream, humming softly as the cold cream melted in her mouth. Enjoying her cold treat, she noticed a couple sitting across her. The male had an arm around the female as she laid her head on his chest. They were smiling to each other with loving eyes. Yusa smiled softly. She always liked seeing people happy, especially couples that really love each other. As she lifted her head, she noticed many heart-related decorations. Something struck her as she gasped. "It's Valentine's Day today! How can I forget!" Yusa panicked, trying to think. Coming up with an idea, she quickly finished up her treat and headed towards Walmart/Fairprice/(Any shopping places).

Arriving, she started looking. Flour, Baking powder, egg, whip cream, chocolate powder, and other ingredients. Paying for them, she rushed back home.

Laying out all the ingredients on the counter in the kitchen, she put on her apron and started working. First the egg, then maybe the flour, and after that baking powder and vanilla essence, then chocolate powder and milk maybe. Stir it up until it turns creamy and nice, and give it a little taste. Yusa hummed in satisfaction, licking the chocolate off her finger. Pouring the mixture in a nice heart-shaped box, she placed it in the freezer. "Done!" Yusa cheered, starting to wash the utensils and pots used. Looking at the clock, it was 7. Her phone beeped. She pulled it out and read the message. "Valentine's Day costume party, 5pm, this coming Friday. Dress as you want, and turn up with a date?" A grin revealed on Yusa's face. Yes! The best opportunity to ask Senpai out! Anyway, Friday was six days later. There was still time. Cooking up dinner, Yusa consumed it. She then spent the whole evening writing a perfect Valentine's Day card. Finishing up the last few words, she signed, sealing it in a customized envelope. Yusa kissed the envelope with a happy smile, admiring she hard work. She glanced into the kitchen. The chocolate should be ready by tomorrow. She glanced at the clock. It was 10. "Wow, time passed so fast when you don't pay attention to it," Yusa commented to herself, tidying up the materials and headed for bed. Laying on bed, she smiled happily to herself. I can finally talk to Senpai! She closed her eyes and prepared to sleep. Her consciousness started to slip away.

Ring! Yusa groaned as her hand hit the alarm clock which caused it to become silent. She opened her eyes but were blinded by the bright sunlight. "It's morning... And it's Monda-" Yusa immediately sat straight up. It was 7 in the morning. She grinned, quickly preparing for school. Yusa opened the freezer, taking out the hard, frozen, heart-shaped chocolate. She scanned it and test it a few times, wrapping it with a gift wrapper when she was sure that it was perfect. Grabbing a French toast, Yusa quickly sprint out the door, her backpack on her back.

She arrived in class, settling down as she carefully placed the gift in her bag, making sure that it did not topple which might cause a disaster. "Oi, Kazaki-chan. Any chocolate for me?" Yusa lifted her head and saw the class's clown, Izarai, looking at her with a grin. Yusa huffed, looking away.

"Nope, I don't." Izarai pouted.

"Aw, aren't I your best friend?" She looked at him with a deadpanned expression.

"No." Izarai quickly squat down.

"Come on, please?" he whined, shaking her arm. Getting tired of his nonsense, Yusa agreed unwillingly. Grabbing a piece of paper, she wrote words and passed to him.
