Chapter Three
Blood Spill

Jesses POV-
>*>*>* 11:45Pm The Next Night
I looked at the clock nervously. After a minute I had wanted to change my clothes. Rummaging through my dresser I found black jeans and a red and black checkered flannel. I didn't want to wear an undershirt. It was pretty warm outside. Plus, if I needed to run for some reason I would blend in. Hopefully I would. There was supposed to be a full moon tonight.
Wait... Oh, of course there had to be a full moon, at midnight, down by a lake, with me meeting with people that I wasn't sure who they were. That also wanted me to bring the knife they gave me telling me if I didn't meet up I would lose someone important... Yup, not creepy or mysterious at all huh.
I spent too much time thinking of endless possibilities that could happen about me meeting the people at the lake. Seven minutes gone by. I had only eight minutes to walk down to the lake. I was not planning on taking my time either. I made my way out my window and hopped out starting to walk a barely noticeable path down to the river.
Branches snapped and cracked from under my feet. Leaves tussled around. The air was still, wind was unnoticeable, and the temperature was... Well, nice. It was a silent calming night. Didn't make me feel better of course. But the river was just now coming into view. Nobody was seen once I reached the waters small cliff like edge.
"Are you the one I have heard called... Jesse?"
a unfamiliar voice dropped out of thin air.I turned to where the male voice was heard and stumbled back hitting a lifted tree root and falling back. I hit the ground, leaves shattering under me.
"You seem a little," the teen stepped out from the dark spot in the woods towards me, half his face covered with dark with the rest in moon light. "hmmmm... How should I put this, jumpy, nervous, scared." His voice was calm and monotoned. His words were distant from eachother.
"Who are you. Why did you want to meet me?"
I asked."Curiosity killed the cat." He retorted pulling a blade from his side.
My eyes widened, "I'm no cat." I crawled backwards a bit keeping my eye on the knife.
"Obviously, but sure are acting like one. Curious, scared. Sound like a cat to me."
"I'm not curious."
"Than why would you come down here. Why did you just ask questions." The boy smirked knowing I could not say anything. "Sometimes you just need to know when to keep your mouth shut. "
Arms wrapped around mine bringing me to my feet. Three more boys that looked my age emerged from the woods darkness.
"They are my... Servants. They do what I say. The one on the left is Cameron, middle Josef, and to the right is Joanna." All three of them nodded their head at me once the guy said their names. "My name is Sean."
"Nice to meet you all." I said calmly glancing at Sean's knife in hand.
Sean brought up his hand and looked at the blade "worried about this?" He said holding it up sideways. The blade looked exactly like the one I received. Sharp and silver. "Our group is called silver bloods. You are part of it now. You moved here into the house that was for sale."
I kept my mouth shut and looked at the three boys. They all stood there. Some leaning, some crossing their arms, and one smirking. Just now I realized the one was one of the guys looking at me yesterday when I was sitting on my porch.
"Have you guys been following me?" I asked trying not to stir up confusion.
"Of course. Why wouldn't we? Josef has been watching you, Joanna has been following you, Cameron has been recording what Josef and Joanna recorded, and me I have been reported it all too."
My body flushed white with fear. "What would I have lost if I didn't come here tonight?"
"You would not have lost anything." Sean looked at all three guys and smirked laughing a bit. I couldn't tell if he was joking or being serious or not. I bet he was lying.
"Did you bring the knife?" Josef asked.
I nodded my head.
"Good, let me see it." He demanded.
I nodded my head and pulled it out from behind the back of my shirt where I kept it tucked securely in my pants. Josef took my knife and unscrewed the end of it opening a secret department. He pulled out a vial of clear liquid.
"Here, drink that. It's only water. You look thirsty." Josef handed the bottle to Cameron and Cameron looked at it then threw it to me. I caught the vial and looked at Joanna.
"Go on. Not gonna kill ya." Joanna said.
Sean looked at me leaning against the tree seeming to watch my every move. I just did as they said. They were the ones who had my knife, I was unarmed, and Sean has a knife in his hands right now. Where was I to go or do?
I unscrewed the vials lid and smelled it. Didn't smell like anything. I then drank it. Didn't taste like anything. I guess they weren't lying to me.
"That wasn't so bad now was it." Sean asked.
I shook my head. Cameron came up to me and took the vial from my hand gently. His face was sensual.
"How you feeling?" Sean asked. " you looked really thirsty."
"I feel fine. And yes, a little better."
"Good." He said. "Now, Joanna can you hold Jesses arm for me?" My eyes shot open but I couldn't react.
"Yes." Joanna replied.
I felt a little bit of a sweat coming on. I was calm, I wasn't nervous or hot either.
"Thank you."
Joanna pulled up my sleeve and held out my arm. Sean walked closer with his knife. I stood there in confusion and couldn't move. Sean cut my arm making me bleed. I didn't feel a thing. Sean had opened his secret compartment and opened his vial that seemed empty. He filled his vial with my blood and closed it sealing it back into his knife.
I couldn't move and started blinking faster. Joanna stepped back where he was and Sean leaned against the tree again.
"How you feeling Jesse." Sean asked again.
"I... I feel... I feel faint." I said my vision starting to get blurry. "What... What did you do to me!" I tried to yell while I fell to my knees falling forward catching myself with one arm having the other on my head. Sean bent down in front of me.
"Awe, hang tight Jess. Fight it. Come on now. You can do it." He encouraged.
"Fight wh- aughhhhh" I said my voice going without me trying. My vision went black and I felt myself drift forward falling onto my side. One arm above me, the other bent into my body a little. One knee bent and the other strait. I couldn't talk or move I had completely blacked out.
