(Y/N)'s POV

I was waiting for awhile, just sitting on the couch and waiting for Sans to show up. I made up an excuse to not eat Papyrus' spaghetti and just lay on the couch feeling helpless. Eventually, I got bored of waiting around and fell asleep.

I was in a dark void again. Only this time I was alone. I walked around for a bit but, of course, there was no point to it.

"You deserve to stay here." A voice told me. I recognized it from my other nightmares.

"W-who are you?" I asked, frightened. It laughed a cold, humorless laugh.

"(Y/N) you're heartless. You're terrible, don't try and hide it and say you're not. Killing every single monster just because you were bored? Everyone you loved? How evil can you get?" The voice tore at me. I felt like I was being killed. Every word like a stab to my heart. Because every word was the truth.

"Just stay here and rot. Nobody needs you anywhere else."
The voice told me.

"I've been watching you for awhile now. You're just like me." It purred.

"A cold-blooded killer who doesn't deserve affection from anybody else."

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry I'm sorry." I murmured over and over again as I saw flashes of myself killing Toriel, Papyrus, Undyne, Mettaton, and all the other monsters I had grown to love. Then I saw myself fighting sans. Dirty brother killer ... The hatred in his eyes. Kids like you should be burning in hell... I saw myself finally kill him. It wasn't just a game anymore...

"I didn't mean it.." I whispered.

"But of course you did, dear (Y/N)." The voice said into my ear and I backed away.

"No. No. NONONONONO! I'm sorry.. I'm sorry Nonono I'm sorry I'm so sorry." I sobbed over and over again, not being able to stop.

"Hush... It's time for you to wake up. Wake up."

"WAKE UP!" A different voice shouted and I opened my eyes to see Sans hovering over me, a worried look in his eyes. I scooted as far away as I could with an injured ankle and closed my eyes.

"(Y/N) what happened?" Sans asked worriedly.

"I h-had a nightmare." I stuttered and broke out in sobs. The skeleton hugged me and patted my back. I froze. Then relaxed as I realized that he wasn't going to kill me.

"It's okay... I get them too." He whispered.

After awhile I calmed down and simply sat with Sans on the couch.

"I make Frisks choices for them... I thought it was just a game. Now I'm not sure what's real." I admitted suddenly. Sans seemed a little taken aback.

"So all of the timelines all of the resets... It's really been you?" He asked.

"Basically. I feel like Frisk has their own personality though." I said. Then I looked away nervously.

"Sans why haven't you killed me?" I asked him suddenly.

"Sheesh, what's with all the sudden questions, kiddo?" He asked and I looked over at him and thought I saw a tint of blue on his face. I quickly looked away again. My eyes were playing tricks on me.

"(Y/N)... I have killed you... In the judgement hall. More than once." He told me and I shook my head in disbelief. Can he really just forgive so easily?

"Don't you hate me?" I asked, confused.

"Nope. I sure wish I did but ... Well, I just don't." He told me. I nodded.

"Well, I'm glad you don't... I wouldn't want to have a bad time..." I said quietly. We sat in silence for a few moments before I heard Sans get up.

"I'm going to bed. You should too. Goodnight." He said and walked upstairs. I lay back down in the surprisingly comfortable couch and turned on my side. I didn't exactly want to sleep for fear of another nightmare but eventually, I couldn't fight my exhaustion any longer.

I'll see you soon, (Y/N)... a voice whispered as I fell asleep. I was disturbed but soon found my way to peaceful dreams.

You aren't sure why, but you are determined.

Hey guys. Sorry about the shortness of this chapter. I have a few more pre-written and will try to update daily. I might not be able to update tomorrow though because school starts back up and they usually give us a crap ton of work. So I'm uploading this part early. Hope you enjoyed.
