Chapter 24

"Maggie you need to calm down!!" Liam followed me as I paced the living room

"Why should I !! I just saw my boyfriend be taken out in handcuffs!!" I was freaking out almost to the point of hyperventilating

"I know Maggie I was there !!! We need to call your mom"

I ran to my phone and dialled her number, I told her it was an emergency and she was on her way.

In seconds she was at Zayns door so me and Liam sat her down and tried to explain

"Okay so tell me what's going on" my mom nervously tapped her fingers

"Zayn got arrested" I was the one the broke the news

"What!!! How? Why? When?"

"He got into a fight at a club.....because of me..." I looked down at my feet

"What happened Maggie?"

"Thats not important but you need to help him please!!!" I started to get teary eyed

"Okay ill go but dont get your hopes up" she kissed my forehead and went out the door

"What did she mean by that Liam?" I looked up to him

"It means we need to round up the boys and wait" he put his hand on my shoulder and wiped out his phone and started to call the boys

"Okay Maggie tell us what happened" Louis sat on the couch with the rest of the boys

"We went to the club and I lost him in the crowd I went to go get a drink and someone came up behind me. Thinking it was Zayn I let him feel me up but when I turned around I realized it wasn't him I tried to get away but he pulled me into this hallway with no one around. He forced me to kiss him and when I didn't he hit me so I just let him do whatever he wanted. That's when Zayn showed up, words were said and that's when Zayn attacked, he wasn't himself. He was dark and a totally different person , it was like he didnt know me. I kissed him and snapped him out of it and he didnt remember anything . We left the club not knowing if the guy was dead or not" all eyes were on me speechless

Harry hopped up and crashing into me hugging me tightly

"Why do you always have to go through this stuff" he spoke in my ear

"I don't know Harry"

I walked with him to the couch and we all sat there in silence just waiting for some news

I started to laugh to myself and everyone was confused

"What's so funny" Liam looked over

"I forgot to tell you all the best part, the detective that arrested Zayn was Eric's father!!!" I kept laughing

"You have to be kidding me" Niall stood up

"Nope and apparently Eric was the one identified us" the laughing continued

"God I hate the kid" Louis kicked around

I kept laughing hard while the rest of the boys just sat there awkwardly not knowing what to do

"Hey mags are you okay?" Harry put on arm around me

"Oh never better!!!"

"Then why are you laughing?" Niall sat beside me

"Cause if I don't laugh then I might just cry" and just like that I broke down again on Harry's lap and all he did was rubbing my back not knowing how to comfort me
