Chapter 14.

I woke up to the sound of a phone ringing. I looked next to me and I noticed Matt still asleep. Who's phone is that?!?!? Urgh. It's flipping 3 am. Who would be calling at this time of night or day.. Oh whatever!!?! It doesn't sound like my ringtone. Ugh where is it?!?!? Oh! Here it is.

'Regina'

Who's Regina..?

"Hey babe.. Who is it..?" Matt asked wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling me into him.

"Someone named Regina.. Who is that..?"

I felt Matt tense behind me. He took the phone from my hand and ended the call.

"It's no one."

I knew he was lying by his reaction when I said her name, but I put it aside cause I needed my beauty sleep. Like now. Before I get cranky. Matt took the phone out of my hand and ended the call, shutting his phone off, and turning around letting go of his grasp on me to put his phone on his desk which was right next to the bed..

"Come here, babe.." Matt said extending his arms out for me to cuddle into him. I happily obliged, and instantly fell asleep.

I woke up to my alarm ringing.

"ARGHH! Can't I get my beauty sleep without interruptions?!? God dammit Patricia..!"

I turned my alarm off and pulled the pillow over my head. I heard laughing from across the room.

"Oh my Patricia.. What is it now?!?"

"Nothing, just want to spend today with my wonderful mate!"

"Oh! Baby come back to bed!! I'm really tired.."

"It's 12:00 pm. I think you should get up now."

I shot up out of my bed and went to the bathroom. Ignoring the major headache I suddenly got.

"WHAT?!?!?! WHY DIDNT YOU WAKE ME UP EARLIER?!?!?!"

"Sorry. You looked tired, i didnt want to wake you up. And you seemed like you didnt have any plans today so i wanted you to sleep in! I also wanted to take you out today so i wanted you energized! So do you want to go now or later..?"

"I appreciate this so much! like seriously so much. and we can head out after i get washed up and dressed.!!"

"Alright! I'll be down in the kitchen."

I walked into the bathroom and took a quick shower not washing my hair so i can style it quickly. I brushed my teeth than headed out to the closet. I stopped in my tracks remembering i didnt bring any clothes. I still walked into the closet hoping for something. What i saw was totally not what i expected to see. Half of the closet was filled with girl clothes. All different colors, yellow, orange, red, pink, purple, blue, green, and way more! I saw a cute light blue sundress and looked out the window to check and see what the weather was. Perfect! The sun was shining brightly. Out of nowhere i felt a sahrp pain in my stomach. i fell to the ground clutching onto my stomach.

Its the change happening sweetheart.. Hazel, my wolf told me. Every wolf has their own name.

What change..? I replied.

You're getting a new wolf..

After everything we've been through I'm just gonna get a new wolf?!? What if i dont want it?

Trust me sweetheart you'll want this one. You're very special to get her. You were chosen. Now we dont have that much time. The change will get here in about a day or two. You'll keep getting jolts of pain every now and then.

What about the date? I don't want to ruin it..

You'll be fine sweetheart, just tell him the truth. you wont get another jolt in another 2 hours.

I soon got dressed in the sundress and found some sandals that matched it. Than I did my hair in a side fishtail. I walked down to the kitchen and saw Matt talking with Jake. Matt noticed me and got up and engulfed me in a hug.

"What took you so long??!" Matt asked me, worried.

"I'm a girl that's about to go on a date what do you expect??"

Jake chuckled and came over and hugged me.

"How are you feeling Krys?" He asked.

"Ehh, have a headache but I can handle it." I smiled than looked over to Matt.

"Let's go!" I said excitedly!!

I wonder where we're going! I hope it's somewhere fun! But not that public because of the jolts of pain. That reminds me I need to tell him about it..

"Hey Matt.."

"Yea.?"

"I have to tell you something, it's about my wolf..."

"Ok.. Go on..."

"Well.. Hazel she said.. I was changing.. Getting a new wolf.. That wolf would be Christians new mate (a/n Christian is Matt's wolf.) Hazel said that I would get jolts of pain after every two hours.. I've had one so far... I don't know much yet but I don't want to ruin this date! I wanted to tell you so when that pain comes you wouldn't be to worried..."

"Did you, get one yet..?" His voice was shaking but not with anger. With sadness, love, worry, and protection.

"Yea... While I was getting dressed.."

"How long ago was that.?"

I took his wrist to look at his watch and said

"Umm, 30 minutes ago."

"I'm sorry, you have to go through this much pain. It hurts me to see you in pain. It hurts me to know you had to go through that without me there to hold you, to tell you everything will be alright, to caress you, to have you safe in my arms. But believe me. You won't have to go through that alone ever again. I will be in your life every second of everyday.. I love you Krystal Widow Jacobs."

I was.. Speechless.. Yea speechless.. That's the word. He said he loved me. Oh. My. God.

"I... I... I'm..."

"I'm sorry. You don't have to say it back if your not ready. Oh gosh. I knew that was to quick. What was I thinking.? God. I'm such an idiot. God, I moved to fast didnt I? I knew it! You probably hate me now. God I feel stupid.."

"Woahh there buddy. Hold your horses!!! First off. Your timing was amazing! Second of all. Your not an idiot. Your amazing! Third of all. I love you more than you imagine."

"But.. What.. You say whaaaa.... Say it again..??" I laughed at him.

"I love.. AHHHH!"

I fell to the floor in pain. My to match was killing me! It hurt so much worse than the one from earlier! And it lasted longer to!! Before I hit the ground Matt caught my practically an inch away from the ground. He sat down and pulled me on top of his lap, and I cried into his chest as another wave of pain hit me. I can't believe 1 hour and a half already went by. Like seriously?!

"Matt.. It hurts.. Make it stop! Please! It hurts!!"

"Shh, baby I know. I know it does. You'll be ok." He continued to say calming words to me. Than the pain ceased but I was still crying.

"I love you, angel." Matt said kissing my forehead.

"I love you too."

And with that I got washed away by darkness.
