This is what torture feels like.

I thought as I walked behind Megan and Lucy, who were picking out bridesmaid dresses for me which were all either too short, too slutty or too pink.

"You can't go to my sisters wedding wearing jeans and a top," Megan complained. We've been at the mall for hours, ever since school finished.

"Do I have to wear a dress though, they're all too puffy and pink," I whined, hoping that Megan and Lucy would just give up now and take me home.

"All the bridesmaids have to wear a pink dress. What dress style you choose is up to you but seeing as you can't choose for yourself we have to do it for you," Lucy said, flicking through the dresses. Lucy was Megan's cousin and my friend but she doesn't usually hang out with us because she has a boyfriend and she prefers to spend time with him over us. Rude, I know.

"Fine, I'll be sitting here while you guys go look for that dress." I said sitting down to rest my aching feet.

An hour and 35 dresses later I finally chose a dress that didn't make me look like a piece of cotton candy. The dress was pale pink and went up to about mid-thigh, which was still a little short for my liking but Megan refused to look for another dress.

"So will you guys be bringing dates to the wedding?" Lucy asked from the back seat of the car.

I didn't know the answer to that just yet. I wanted to ask Alec but I was scared that he would think that we were moving too fast. I mean we haven't even been on our first date yet.

"Can we not talk about that?" Megan asked gripping the steering wheel harder. Her and Xavier have been dodging each other all day today, instead of talking to each other about what happened like normal people.

"The wedding is in two weeks, you need to start looking for a date. That is unless you want aunt Linda to pair you with one of her spoilt sons," Megan's face twisted just at the thought of her cousins. They were the typical mommy boys who were given everything they wanted and if they weren't, they would throw tantrums like 3 year olds.

After Megan dropped Lucy home, she insisted that we should have a sleepover at her house because her parents were working late today and she didn't want to be alone. I obviously said no because it was a school night and I had homework to complete but Megan wasn't listening to a word I said because she didn't bother dropping me home. Instead she gave me her house key and let me out of the car.

"Go pick out the movies, I'm going to the store to get some snacks." She said before driving off.

Megan's house was like my second home, I knew where everything was. I walked through her long hallway and went up the stairs. Her bedroom was the first one on the right.

I took my jacket off and sat up on her bed, looking through her collection of movies. They were all movies that we have already seen but when we watch them together they never seem to get old.

I was deciding between Pitch Perfect 2 and Insurgent when my phone buzzed in my back pocket.

I'm outside. Open the door.

I ran downstairs, assuming that Megan was waiting for me to get the door because she gave me her keys.

I opened the door to a bruised Dylan who was leaning against the door frame, supporting himself.
