"Look Lily, I know what he did was really horrible but he's been outside my house for hours throwing freakin' pebbles or who knows what at my windows," she explained, over the phone.

"Tell him to go away then." I said coldly, still hurt from what happened earlier today. I've been in my room for 4 hours to be exact and Megan calling me and telling me about that asshole is definitely not helping.

"Then he'll get suspicious and ask why I'm in your hou-," she was interrupted by a mans voice, which I'm guessing was her dads. "Sorry about that, my dad was about to go and scream at him and tell him to leave,"

"I don't care if he finds out, just get rid of him. There is no chance that I'm coming over." With that I hung up the phone and fell face first onto my bed.

Not long after my phone started blaring out Megan's ringtone for the fifth time in the past half hour.

"Megan can you stop calling me, I don't want to know what he's doing now," I said harshly, probably a little too harshly.

"I'm calling to tell you that he's gone. I just want you to come over, we can spend the evening doing whatever you want," this was what Megan was best at, convincing people to do what she wants them to do. I swear sometimes I start to think that she's related to the Salvatore brothers.

"Okay. I'll be there in 10." I said putting a hoodie and a pair of sweats on.

I walked slowly when I turned the corner on Megan's street, cautiously looking around to make sure that Dylan wasn't anywhere near.

I knocked on Megan's door and waited for her to open it. Instead of Megan, her dad opened the door.

"I swear if you-" he started. "Oh Lily, sorry about that," he apologized.

"It's alright," I gave him a smile and walked inside.

"What are your plans for this evening?" Her dad asked us, once Megan came downstairs.

"Nothing." I replied.

"Well actually, I was hoping that we could go out somewhere. You know to get your mood up and all," Megan suggested.

There is no way that I'm going out tonight.

"Well be safe if you do go out and please be back by 12." Mr Livingstone said before grabbing his car keys from the counter and leaving for work.

"Megan you said that I get to choose what we do," I told her.

"I might of only said that to get you over here." She said with an innocent smile. I don't know what I was thinking coming over here, expecting us to have a calm evening of me venting my problems and Megan being a good friend and listening. I should've known better.

"But I don't feel like going anywhere," I whined.

"You're going. Even if I have to drag you out of the house by your feet," she said raising her eyebrows. "Besides you wouldn't want to leave your best friend alone with a guy in a nightclub, would you?"

"What guy and what nightclub? What are you talking about?" I asked, confused.

"Xavier asked me to go out with him today and when I said no, he said that I could bring you if it made me feel more comfortable so I agreed," she explained walking towards me.
