I examined the rock, I don't know why but my knees felt like they would give out from under me. There was an extra space, big enough for me to sit on if she would let me. I toussled with my hair, nervously shuffling on my feet, "I... Uh..."

"Would you like to sit?" She cocked an eyebrow at me, folding her arms. She stifled a giggle, pulling her knees up to her chest, tugging on her shirt sleeve. I sat, wiping my hands on my sweat pants.

There was an awkward silence between us at first, I stared at her guitar for a while and her head was resting in her knees, facing me, unitl I finally spoke up, "You have an amazing voice, just saying."

"Oh god, how much did you hear...?" She sunk her head into her shirt in embarrassment, tying her hands behind her neck. She was practically in a ball, which made me laugh, "That's so embarrassing, save me now..."

"No! Why are you embarrassed?!" She pushed me lightly, uncurling from her makeshift shell. She grinned at me, I felt myself getting more comfortable, instead of being uneasy, "You sing waayyyy better than me, okay, you should be proud."

"Oh really?!" She teased, I poked her and she flinched. It felt like we were just old friends, catching up. It was like an unspoken, unknown bond between us. We just clicked. She wrapped her fingers around the neck of her guitar, pushing it up to me, "Show me."

"Don't hate me if I sound sick, because I am."

"I bet you use that a lot, don't you?"

I paused for a second to think, yeah, "Nope, I do not."

Her eyes widened at me, patting her guitar, "I'm waiting."

"You sure?" I smirked, she nodded, shielding her smiled with her sleeve, "Okay, if your ear drums bleed, I'm not resposible."

"I'm sure you're not that bad, c'mon."

I played dumb, staring at the strings like I had no idea what I was doing, stroking random strings to make the most awful noise that could come from a guitar, when in truth, I knew exactly what I was doing. She cupped her mouth in awe, "Wow, you're really bad. I thought you were lying."

"Mhm," I just nodded, looking innocent. She truly believed I was that bad, I should be an actor. She reached out for her guitar but I pulled away, laughing, "I'm gonna be serious though, okay, what's your favorite song?"

"Unless a miracle happens, or you have a ukelele, it will not sound right."

"Try me." I challenged, we exchanged glances as she thought.

"Fine." She crossed her arms, "I'm Yours."

"By Jason Mraz?" I laughed to myself, "I got this."

I slightly tuned her guitar, making sure I could get it to sound like the real thing. Her expression immediately changed as I strummed, getting off to a steady start. She stared at me more like she was deep in thought. I think she was waiting on me to start singing. I cleared my throat, "Well, you dawned on me and you bet I felt it. I tried to be chill, but you're so hot that I melted. I fell right through the cracks, now I'm trying to get baaaack before the cool dawn run out. I'll be giving it my bestest and nothing's gonna stop me but divine intervention. I reckon, it's again my turn to win some or learn some. But I won't hesitate no more, no more. It cannot wait, I'm yours."

She stood up, clapping with a smile, "That was pretty amazing, you lied to me!"

My cheeks warmed, I just hope she doesn't see. I slipped her pick under the strings, handing her guitar back to her. I smiled, "No I didn't, I just didn't tell the entire truth! Your voice is way more beautiful than mine, believe me."

"I may take your word for it," She sidestepped back to the rock, sitting next to me, "but then again I may not."

"Whatever you say," I stood up, shooting her a wink, "I won't stop saying it."

She rolled her eyes playfully at me. I realized I had been out here longer than I thought because I knew my mom would be home soon and I was supposed to be catching up on my school work. I began to back away. I ran my hands over my pockets, feeling the bracelet, forgetting the entire reason I came out here in the first place.

I flashed her a smile, feeling inside my pocket for it, "Um, you dropped this yesterday. I thought I should bring it back."

Her eyes seemed brighter today, they lit up, a big smile stretching across her face. This was the first time I actually saw her smile. She snatched it from my fingers, squealing, "Thank you so much! I thought I lost this forever..." Her tone changed, like a sarcastic happy, "I cried all night because I couldn't find it. Thanks so much!"

She threw her arms around me, pulling me into a tight hug, "No problem... Well I have to go, hanging out with you was really cool."

"You're not so bad yourself, no name." She smiled back at me, giving me a small wave.

"It's Austin." I corrected her, poking her side, she began to blush. I could see the redness rising up in her cheeks. She tugged on her sleeves, twisting on the tips of her feet.

"You really made my day..." She started, almost in a whisper. She backed away, "Thanks."

"Same time tomorrow?" I asked out of curiousity, I really wanted to see her again. She nodded and waved to me. I hid my enthusiasm, turning back to my walk, starting for my house. I jogged back through the woods to the path that led to my backyard, smiling the entire time. I was hopping, jumping, cheering for myself. I was pretty proud.

Something about this girl made me set her out from the rest. She wasn't just another girl. I couldn't find words that would describe her, other than different.

I spun around in my computer chair, we had done everything. We brainstormed more videos we could possibly do, it seemed like we had done them all.

"Let's not even worry about this now," Alex spoke. Alex is my best friend, we were practically inseperable since we both had the same pair Nike Shocks in middle school. He was staying the night tonight and we needed something to do but obviously I didn't need to worry about it, "Dude, I see you."

"What do you mean?" I lifted my head up from the ground, still spinning.

"You've been out of it ever since I got here. Like zoned out, are you okay?"

This is gonna sound really cliche but, "I kinda met a girl."

And I'm pretty sure I'm falling for her.

A/N: Did this make up for the bleh-ness of chapter 4? I hope so, I really tried with this one. I kinda made this chapter brighter because we don't need depressing shit all throughout. Let's have some fun. Vote, Comment what you think, share???(: Thanks for reading! Give me feedback?
