Luke walked out of nowhere and grabbed me in the biggest hug EVER and covered me with kisses , I couldn't even talk all I could do was giggle. Finally he stepped back and was half smiling with tears running down his face. And then I looked behind him and there was Ryker with a black eye and knocked out on the sand .
My eyes got huge and I studdered as I tried to find the words I was looking for
"Luke ! what happened ? whats going on?"
Luke continued to tell me that he noticed Ryker acting weird after I left so Luke followed him and turns out it was all a setup and Ryker made it look like Luke was waiting on me so he could appologize . Which thankfully Luke was actually waiting on me .
"oh my gosh Luke ! " I grabbed him and hugged him so tight " Baby if you wouldn't have followed him then I would have came here and who knows what would have happened!! I love you so much!"and then I kissed his forehead
Luke started crying "But Daisy girl im so sorry I didn't believe you about Ryker , If I would have opened my ears and really listened to you then I would have sent Ryker on his way days ago, i'm so sorry I put your life in danger "
I wiped the tears from his cheek and kissed where each and every one of them was, "But Luke, you saved me , you made sure I was alright and you always do , no matter what you are always my hero .
The police came to take Ryker away , Luke didn't tell them everything because he still had sympathy for the young kid, and we would be leaving for home in a few days , so they only took him home and and said theyd keep their eyes on him until we left the island.
I watched from a distance , just kind of taking it all in , the waves crashing on the shore , the sand between my toes that made me wrinkle my feet hehe , the bright blue skies and puffy clouds slowly drifting by and some playful dolphins over the horizon jumping out of the water. And before I knew it Luke had a hold of my hand and started pulling me , we walked a few yeards closer to the high cliffs and he pulled me up on the ledge of a rock and guided me all the way up higher and higher .
Within 10 minutes we reached the top , the view was incredible you could see for miles in every direction . The ocean and sand for as far as you could see, the salty air , warm mist from the waves and the breeze made for the perfect ocean feel . Along with the air pulling my hair this way and that, and the tropical birds in the background. There was no doubt in my mind that with Luke by my side i'd be happy wherever the wind took us ... I found myself saying out loud ...
" this truly is paradise ...."
