Luke , Luck, and Love

Chapter 55 ( Something Pink)

Luke walked closer to me and smiled and then handed me a velvet black box with a Red bow tied on top. 

I grabbed it from him and he said " go on darlin' open it !" and that made me smile even more

So i pulled the bow off and slowly opened the box and when i saw what was inside i shut it fast and handed it back to Luke.

"Luke i can't take this! I feel horrible , i don't need expensive things " I said

Luke handed the box back to me and said "Daisy i saw it and immediately thought of you , i want you to have it !"

I grabbed the box back and opened it up and there was a beautiful 2 chained necklace with 1 string of pink pearls attached to another string of many tiny pink Morganite diamonds . I just stared at it for a while because i have never seen something so beautiful and perfect , im afraid to touch it that i might break it!

"here Daisy girl " Luke said while grabbing the necklace and lifting my hair to put it on me

Luke took a step back and looked me over , "it really does look 10 times more beautiful on you , from the first time i saw it i just kept goin back to it , i knew it would look perfect on you !"

"i love it Luke! you really didn't have to buy me anything ! im just happy i get to be with you "

I jumped into his arms and kissed him and then i felt something at my back

"Luke! one of the horses came untied ! " i said and we both started laughing

Luke started gathering up everything and putting it back in the basket while  i tied the horse back to the tree. 

"Luke this has been a perfect day ! You totally surprised me and it was just all perfect with the horses and the picnic , you sure do know how to treat a girl !"

"Well the only girl ill need to know how to treat good , is you Daisy girl" Luke said and then looked up at me and blew me a kiss

I pretended to catch it and then giggled

When Luke was about ready to fold up the blanket , i walked over to him , sat down and gave him the tightest hug ever " whoa whoa you tryin to choke me !  so you can runaway with Carter!" Luke said and then had us both layin on our backs laughing

we turned our heads and just looked into each others eyes

----a few hours later----

i suddenly felt wet , i opened my eyes and i was in Lukes arms and ..... it was raining ! Me and Luke must have fell asleep laying together on the blanket ! i looked over and Luke was just starting to wake up

I started to laugh "Luke ! Wake up its raining , we fell asleep!"

He opened his eyes , sat up and looked around and then started laughing too . He grabbed the blanket we were laying on and wrapped us both up in it . I rode in front of Luke on his horse so we could both be wrapped in the blanket together even though we were already pretty much soaked!

We made it back to the couples house and they took the horses from us , we didn't talk to long because of the rain.

We made it back to Lukes truck and decided to drive back to the bus because we need to start getting ready for the concert since we fell asleep for a few hours.

Before we left Luke said "I'm gonna walk up to the hill where ill have a better signal since it stopped raining and call Carter real quick before we leave and tell him we are okay because i have 5 missed calls from him and 2 from Blackie , guess he doesn't care as much about us as Carter does haha. So ill be right back !"

Luke kissed me and then hopped out of the truck

I just leaned the seat back and cuddled up in the blanket a million thoughts were going through my head and every single one of them was about Luke Bryan .....
