Chapter 50 (fate or found?)

*Lukes POV*

We made it back to the gas station where the bus was parked last night . I dropped BM off there , we agreed we would meet back there in 2 hours and then we split up .

As i drove down the old beaten down roads i just can't stop thinking about Daisy ....Daisy girl...

She is probably upset with me and probably scared. I sure hope nothing happened to her, i feel like this is my fault because i am supposed to be there to protect her but im not.

I finally parked my bronco and got out to walk around for a little and stretch my legs . Its almost been an 2 hours , im gonna have to be headin back to the station... Maybe ill get BM to ride with me in the Bronco that way we can go faster instead of him walking.

I made it back to the station and there was BM standing by the gas pump

"no luck i see.." he said

" no, i think we should both ride in the bronco that way we can go faster"

"no Luke i don't think thats smart. I say we search separately for another hour and then if we can't find her we are going to have to either try something else or get more help."

I tried to hold in tears but one fell down my cheek , BM walked over to me "hey man i know we have had our ups and downs but im still your best friend. Don't worry we will find her , Its gonna be alright Luke "

I looked up at him " i sure hope so Mike, I don't know what i would do without her ... she.. she keeps me grounded , she reminds me that music aint everything , having someone to share it with is what matters the most .... well we better get back out there "

"alright Luke , see you in an hour. Good Luck! We will find her !" BM said 

So we split up again .

I passed a few cars , maybe 3 the whole time, and each one i stopped and asked if they have seen a tall brunette with wavy long hair and freckles and eyes that could hypnotize you with their beauty. but each one said the same thing , no .

I kept looking up at the sky, it looks like its going to rain , i know rain is a good thing but right now it would be great if it would hold off for a while .

I got out and walked a while and walked through a few fields and then i felt a few rain drops on my arm so i headed back to the bronco.

Well i am out of ideas i don't know what to do im at my witts end! i've gotta find Daisy, its like.. its like shes a part of me.

So i started to drive back to the gas station to wait out the rain , i pulled in and parked under the roof of the place .

After a few minutes i saw a figure in the distance . So i waited a minute or so and i could see it was a person.

Wait a second ... its a person carrying another person ... my head started spinning oh my God its MIke hes carrying Daisy!

I started off in a dead run as fast as i could in the pouring rain , i gotta see her , i kept telling myself

my eyes were locked on them , as they got closer and closer , my mind started wandering like why is he carying her? is she okay?

those last few steps felt like an eternity . " BM ! You found my Daisy!"

"Luke its Daisy i found her! " he shouted

I finally got to them . Oh my Daisy it is her it really is. "Daisy baby its me!" i shouted over the rain . But her eyes were closed . I went to scoop her up in my arms , like i have been missing so much and BM said "Luke no , wait , I think she hurt her leg ... be careful"

oh no ... no no no no... she is hurt. this is all my fault i shouldn't have been so rough on BM in the first place , i shouldve just let them explain and then this wouldn't have happened .

I carefully took Daisy in my arms i took my hat off and put it on her to cover her face from the rain and then kissed her forehead and laid my head on hers for a short moment

"come on Luke we better get her to the gas station "

we got back and asked the only worker there for some blankets . i backed the bronco up closer to the side of the building and we piled blankets in the back .

"hey uh Luke im gonna go wait in the station... and talk to the cute girl workin in there haha... let me know if she wakes up " BM said before walking inside

I scooped Daisy up in my arms and crawled in the back of the Bronco and covered us up , the rain was tapping on the tin roof and i started to doze off .

All of a sudden i felt something , i opened my eyes and Daisy was moving , i looked down and she started to open her eyes

"L..L... Luke ! " she managed to whisper

I got the biggest smile on my face , kissed her forehead and the tears started coming all i could manage to say was " i love you  " .....
