Luke caressed my hands in a way that seemed as if it was his first time ever holding them. He had a twinkle in his eyes that showed enough love to last a life- time ,and in this moment I swear Luke and I are the only 2 people on this earth . My senses were going wild every part of my body was awake and somehow I just knew that my life was about to change forever.
Luke gently laid his hands across my eyes and closed them , " Daisy Rae Bleu " he said and I noticed he started to choke up a little and really work at getting his words out,
"I want you to listen to every word I say and take it all in . You and you only have been the love of my life since the day I laid my eyes on you . I don't know if it was the innocence and pure kindness of you insisting that i didn't take away that girls concert privileges that day in the tour bus so long ago , or the inner fan in you when me and Carter told you we wanted you to sell merch for us and you went CRAZY , or all the times you was willing to forgive me when I didn't deserve to be left off the hook that easily , I couldn't possibly choose one or any of the amazing memories we have together to say why I fell in love with you because they all mesh into one and they all , put together explain why I fell in love with you. You were a fan , yes...( well I hope you still are a fan haha ) but I just knew you had so much more to you , I knew that you were one in a million and going to be my #1 fan for ever . "
Luke reached up to open my eyes , and what I saw instantly gave me tears in my eyes . No I did not see letters spelled out from an airplane or a sentence in huge letters in the sand below but what I did see , was the love of my life down on his knees with a black velvet box in his hand , and that more than anything could take my breath away.
"Daisy girl , after that mouthful of words ^^ " Luke said with a chuckle along with tears " Would you make me the happiest man on this entire earth by marrying my crazy ass and being my wife ? "
I don't think Luke even got to finish his question before I pulled him up and covered him with kisses and leaned in and whispered "yes " in his ear and then we both started crying along with smiles and laughing I screamed "I'm going to be Mrs. Bryan !!!!" and Luke couldn't help but grin at that I think I even heard him let out one of his famous purrrrs
Luke slipped the ring on my finger and it just so happened to be the perfect fit ! And lets not forget that it is GORGEOUS ( not that the ring mattered anyways I was determined to marry this man one way or another haha) . Luke reached into a bag and pulled out some spray paint bottles .. okayyy.... huh?
Luke handed me one " And now we can mark this date permanently here " and he started painting on the rock side ,

After enjoying some time alone and taking it all in that we are actually engaged! We headed for the cabanas to tell the rest of the family our great news! I kept saying over and over in my head "Mrs Bryan " , "Mrs Daisy Bryan " "Lukes Wife" and It honestly felt like a dream , and if it is I never EVER want to wake up ! <3
