Chapter 76 ( A Dolled Up Daisy )

I took Lukes hand and followed him through the palm trees and onto the sandy beach. What i saw on the other side , was a group of people all dressed in fancy clothes and they all had one thing in common, they were all looking at me.

I looked over at Luke with panic all over my face  "Luke what is this ? What is going on?"

Before Luke could even answer me a tall red headed woman with green eyes that felt like they were going right through me , took my hand

"Hello you must be Miss Bleu? I am very excited to be working with you. My name is Laurel Ann Laynesly, but to you i am just Laurel" she said with a smile

I just stared at her with a blank and very confused look on my face and i know she could tell

"You don't know whats going on do you dear?" she said so i simply replied with a no

Luke let go of my hand which made me nervous but i looked at him and he gave me a wink and a reassuring smile and motioned for me to go. So i continued to follow Laurel into a tent.

When we got inside there was clothes , and i mean clothes , everywhere! Im sure my face said it all .

"From your face i assume you had no idea what was going to be happening today, so to help you out , Luke set up a photo shoot with Country Weekly just for you , To capture some vacation photos of you and we will probably get some of both of you. And i do know that people magazine was dying to get some photos of you also , so who knows what the day may bring."

I cannot believe what im hearing !!!

"Do you understand what i am saying Miss Bleu ?"

I swallowed , took a deep breath , and looked Laurel in the eye , "yes i do , and you can call me Daisy" i said with a smile

Laurel continued to introduce me to the rest of the crew such as Domenic, the hair stylist , Erin the clothes stylist and Jade the makeup artist . They all were super nice to me.

First  Erin walked me through all the clothes and helped me choose an outfit for the first round of photos. Next Jade did my face and made my eyes look gorgeous! and then Domenic did wonders on my hair !

** Lukes POV**

I know Daisy has to be so surprised and probalby nervous but i hope she ends up enjoying herself today ! i can hear more voices so i think Daisy will be coming out any minute now

While i waited i took my shoes off and waded in the water to cool off , i can't wait to see my Daisy girl!!

And then i looked up and there was Daisy walking out of the big white tent , wearing a yellow dress made out of lacey roses and those red lips make me want to touch them to mine from the moment i saw them.

And  that hair long blonde and wavy and seemed to fall around her face in the most beautiful way and as she got closer her eyes lit up like the sun on the water , a kind of blue that made you feel the coolness of the beauty of them. And her legs long and tan and the sun glistened off them in a way that put the sun to shame.

"Luke look at me !! Just look at me !  A smalltown Maryland girl all dolled up !" I yelled and jumped into his arms , careful to not mess any of my artwork of a face up haha

"You look lovely ! So good i could eat you up " Luke said and went in for a kiss before getting smacked by Laurel haha she means business

"No smooching BEFORE the shoot ! You may as much as you please afterwards but right now her lips are mine " she said letting out a long sophisticated laugh that only a girl like Laurel could pull off haha

Laurel backed off and i said to Luke "Luke this is just so special , I never got this kind of treatment from anyone before, it really means a lot to me"

Luke wiped the tear quickly from my  cheek , fearing that Laurel would smack him again haha

"Anything for you , I just want the whole world to know that you are mine" Luke said giving me a squeeze before i needed to go

Laurel motioned me over towards a bunch of props , she had me running through the water and then jumping into Lukes arms and splashing him . And then you could hear her yelling "Dom ! come here right now !" Because Luke got my hair wet haha

I looked over my shoulder and I saw the words "Luke Loves Daisy" drawn in the sand ! Awww Lukes the sweetest i swear!

We took hundreds of photos , im so happy that we get to keep a copy of each of them!

The sun was finally setting while we was taking the last remainder of the pictures. Laurel talked and talked to us and im really going to miss her , she told us to call her sometime back in the states and we will have to do it again or just go out for lunch one day haha . She gave us a hug after packing up and heading out . We waved while watching the vans of all the clothes disappear .

Before i even knew what was going on I was in Lukes arms and heading for the water, I let out a scream combined with a laugh as we plunged into the baby blue water . Luke never let go of me. We just floated in the water and watched the sun as the last part of the sun vanished and left us with the clear darkening  skies along with the twinkling stars. Its so quiet out here , only the sound of the waves crashing in the distance and coming nearer can be heard.

We finally made our way back onto the sand and found ourselves tangled up on a "Laurel Laynesly Photography" towel haha . Luke lit a lantern and started singing softly to me " Girl you make my speakers go booom booom dancin' on the tailgate in the full moon .....  hey im a little drunk on you and high on summertime "

...... And thats the last thing i remember before waking up .
