Chapter 70 (Red Looks Good On You)

I woke up to a knock at the bedroom door . When i opened my eyes in came Harley .

"Hey guys sorry to kinda invade your privacy BUT a vehicle just pulled in and im not sure who it is sooo just wanted you guys to know haha"

I looked over at Luke and he was still snoring , i rolled my eyes haha " Luke ! wake up , someones here"

He slowly opened his eyes and let out a yawn , " Who is it ?"

Harley looked out the window and said " It looks like an older lady getting out , with glasses and kinda short ."

Luke threw the covers and jumped out of bed and started throwing on clothes

"Luke whats the matter??" I asked

"Thats my mom!!!"  He said while throwing on shorts and a tshirt

wow.. Lukes mom. i never met her before. Thats probably why he is so nervous. He looks jittery and fidgety

I crawled out of bed got dressed and wrapped my arms around Luke " Listen , Luke, its going to be okay , i know i never met your mom but don't worry baby its going to go fine "

He shot me a smile and kissed me "You're right Daisy girl , I need to quit worrying! ... ya ready?!"

Luke grabbed my hand and we started walking down the stairs and there was his mother LeClaire sitting on the couch chatting with Black Mike . When she turned her head and saw us , her eyes lit up and she got a huge smile on her face a kind of welcoming smile that makes you feel all warm inside .

"theres my baby !" she shouted and got up and walked towards us and grabbed Luke into a huge hug and covered him in kisses . Then she stepped back and looked at me .

"Mama , this is Daisy, my girlfriend " Luke said with a smile

I smiled at his mom i didn't really know what i was supposed to do and while i was still thinking , she swallowed me up into a tight hug and kissed my cheek !

Wow i feel so loved , why was Luke even nervous ? haha

We all went outside to sit on the porch to wait on my family . Luke was telling his mom about the tour when another car pulled in . The drivers side door opened and there was my brother Brody! Then the passenger side opened and my mom Brooke walked out  and then the back door opened and out came my best friend who i haven't seen in forever , Mitch!!

I ran and jumped off the porch and ran towards them and we crowded in for a big bear hug , i haven't seen them in what feels like forever !

We talked for a lttle bit and then i led them up on to the porch , and introduced them to Luke and everyone .

" Mama , Brody and Mitch , this is my boyfriend Luke ... Bryan !!"  .... it still feels crazy saying that Luke Bryan is my boyfriend hehe

Luke walked up to my mom and stuck out his hand and my mom grabbed it and shook it and then pulled him into a hug . I could see the smile on Lukes face , i think he was surprised my mom hugged him like that . It made me smile too to see everyone getting along so great and everything going so smoothly !

I told everyone i was going to sneak upstairs and finish the rest of my packing because i only have today to pack ! We are leaving for the airport at like 3 in the morning !!

*3 hours later *

I was sitting on my bed just trying to think of anything else i could possible need and Mitch walked in .

"Okay girl now that we are alone you HAVE to spill all the details of you and that heavenly man of yours!!!!"

I gave her this grin haha and started telling her all , well most ;) , of our stories.

We were laughing about the time Luke climbed in through the tour bus roof window to get to me inside , when Luke walked in .

"Hey y'all ! I don't know if i wanna know what youre laughing about butttt haha i think we are all gonna go out for supper soon i just wanted to let you guys know now so you can have time to get all purtied up " Luke said and then walked over to me and kissed me 

"we'll be down stairs waiting but take your time Daisy girl " 

and then Luke walked out

"OK first of all YOU GUYS ARE SO DARN ADORABLE and secondly i just can't believe my best friend is dating Luke Bryan "

we both just rolled on the bed laughing for a little bit and then decided we better start getting dressed or they might leave without us.

. I decided i wanted to look perfect .

I put on a long black dress with one long lace sleeve and that had ruffles that dragged on the floor and had a v cut out of the entire back of the dress . And then i put on the pink pearl and diamond necklace that Luke had given me on tour. And then i slipped on red heels and put on some deep red lipstick . Mitch put on a short and flirty yellow dress with one strap and then we curled each others hair . I pinned half of my hair to the left with bobby pins, so all my curls was dangling over my left shoulder and down my chest.

I helped Mitch pin all hers up into a cute and curly bun on top of her head. We did each others makeup  and just had fun . It felt like we were back in highschool . We took one last look in the mirror and then looked at each other and grinned and nodded at each other .

I could hear all the  chattering downstairs and some guitar strumming , when we opened the door to the bedroom i heard Carter say kinda loudly haha " FINALLY the beauty queens are done, i'm starved!"

I was behind Mitch when we headed for the stairs i let her go down first, i seen Carters jaw drop , i think he might have himself a little crush !!

I seen Luke looking like anticipating me coming down . So i started down the stairs next and i actually heard Luke gasp , i think he was totally taken by surprise . His eyes met mine and they were locked together the whole time .

As i got to the bottom of the steps LeClaire came up to me and grabbed my hand and said "hunny you look beautiful , i couldn't have picked a more perfect girl for my son " she said with a smile and squeezed my hand and then backed up before Luke would probably knock her over trying to get to me!

"Daisy g-g-g-girl , Baby . You look stunning ! You've looked beautiful a million times but tonight you are umm you are angelic! I'm so proud to call you mine " Luke just was beaming with happiness and he went to kiss me but didn't want to mess up my red lipstick . I grabbed him and laid a big one right on his lips hehe

i leaned in close and whispered " Red looks good on you " .........
