Luke , Luck, and Love

chapter 29

"Welllll i was thinking and since we're gonna be here for a week or so , i thought we could stay at my house ,instead of staying on the tour bus with the guys, they can park the bus by the house , i figured we could go ahead and drive over there and then leave for the concert from there"

i don't know about this but hey what could go wrong ? So happy we get to have this time together and with the band to just relax , hope nothing messes this up .........

"Alright Luke sure that sounds like a good plan .... so uh where do i drive?"

Luke called up the guys and told them what the plan was , so they are gonna meet us at Lukes house in Leesburg . That reminds me i gotta call Mitch tonight or tomorrow and fill her in on all the excitement ! I should probably call mama too but Mitch first .

So we finally made it to Lukes house , his parents live like 10 minutes away which is nice , i don't think they know about me ....

I grabbed my bag and what few things i had with me and Luke hopped out and opened my door for me , what a southern gentleman ! ( lets see how long he acts like that haha)

"Alright Daisy girl , why don't we head on in and ill show you around while the boys are on their way "

Luke showed me the small kitchen , i can tell he doesn't do much cooking by the looks of whats in the cabinets . Then we walked through the living room that has a few long cumfy lookin couches with stripes , and a big recliner with cup holders and everything ( i take it that is Lukes "cold beer drinker" chair )

Then we walked upstairs , i can tell the house is small but perfect for 2 people .As i looked around Theres not many decorations other than antlers , deer heads, turkey feathers and feet, oh and some ducks and a couple elks ,yeah .... definitely needs a womanly touch haha

I remember seeing a picture frame in the kitchen on the counter , its probably the only one in the whole house , and it was of Luke and his brother and sister that died . That just shows how important family is to him . I kinda got teary eyed thinking about it , Id like to say something to Luke about it but i don't want to make him upset for the concert tonight .

"ya comin slow poke?" Luke yelled from the top of the stairs , before taking off around the corner he shouted "your slower than a snail daisy girl !"  followed by some laughter

"Hey ! I was just admiring this elegantly decorated home you have here Mr Bryan ! " i yelled back and definitely couldn't say that with a serious voice

I went around the corner where Luke went and there was 2 doors and 1 to the left but Luke went to the right

I tip toed up to the first door and slowly pushed it open ,and then walked inside , there was a queen sized bed with no sheets on it and old white lacey curtains , it kinda looked deserted , well he ain't in here

so i walked out and shut the door and snuck over to room #2 , i slowly pushed the door open and peeked in  , i saw the same size of bed but with camo sheets ( i wonder whos room this is haha)

" Luke i give up , hide and seek is over " I sat down on the bed .

"Ahhh ! " i let out a scream and jerked my legs up, Luke was under the bed!! when i sat down he grabbed my feet What a goofball!!!

"Luke you nut! you almost got your pretty little face messed up from my feet! "

Luke was trying to talk but he was laughing so hard " you shoulda seen your face Daisy !!"

I was smiling but just staring him down

"okay haha im sorry i just couldn't resist it!"

Luke hopped up on the bed and sat down beside me

"so uh ya like my room ?"

the way he said that , so randomly made me laugh

"what ? not a fan of camouflage ?"

"no no nothing just nothing Luke "

"So i take it you seen your room already?" Luke asked

"oh you mean the one that looks like its inhabited with ghosts and spiders with their webs?"

"haha yeah that one , i guess it does need some cleaning"

the door flew open

"ohhhh heyyy excuse us , is there something going on in here?"

me and Luke both jumped

"jeezee Carter didn't your mama teach you to knock , hey Daisy looks like the guys are here haha".......
