"Why do you care anyway?" I ask, still standing in front of the door "Because. I like him." He said, looking into my eyes "You do?" I ask "Yes. I like him a lot." Kyle said, sitting down on the chair "You- like want to date him?" I question, crossing my arms "I man- I was just gonna talk to him. I do want to date him- if he wants to. I mean I guess I don't really have your permission though." He says, looking down "You'll treat him good?" "Yea." He says, looking up at me, his hands nervously pressed together in between his knees "You won't hurt him? You won't try anything with him?" I ask " Yea. Of course. I would never hurt Johnnie. I'd hurt myself first." He spoke sincerely, words full of nothing but truth. I knew he wouldn't hurt Johnnie. Still. I'm very protective over Johnnie. Especially after what happened last time. Well, the time before last time. "You have my permission. Don't fucking hurt him. I'll rip your fucking balls off."
