After getting a room, I walk in, carrying Johnnie, I sit him down on the bed when I get a text.

Yeah I can't talk now i'm talking to Johnnie ~ Bryan

"Do want anything to eat?" I ask. He shakes his head, I should've already known. He never eats when he's upset. "Can we talk about this- i'm really confused." I ask, sitting on the bed, pulling Johnnie into my lap.

I'm so confused, I don't really have any clue whats going on other than the rushed sentence Alex told me. If Shannon really did what Alex claims, theres big problems. After that happened to him last time, he almost killed himself. I'm the only one he told. He wouldn't talk to anyone else, I can't believe someone could do this to him. 2 people. first Chris, then Shannon? Why do people keep doing this to the poor kid? "Just breath." I said calmly, referring to his hitched breathing "Breath baby." I say again, and his breathing calms, I feel him softly inhaling and exhaling against my chest. "Talk to me Johnnie. I wanna know what happened." "O-k-kay, m-me and Shannon were going out for s-seven months, we were kissing and Alex came in, because we didn't tell anyone we were dating and she got m-mad and said S-Shannon and her were going out for 2 months a-and it's true. Bryan. Shannon cheated on me." He said through tears. My poor baby boy. "It's okay Johnnie." I whisper, rubbing his back "Bryan why does it always happen too me?" He cries into my chest "I don't know why baby." I say. I don't know how someone could hurt someone so innocent, it's like kicking a puppy. "It's gonna be okay, I promise, just don't hurt yourself." I say, this was stressing the shit out of me, Johnnie has been clean for a long time, but I know how easily the thoughts can be triggered. "I won't. I promise." He says, his small fingers latched around my body, holding onto me tightly. "You wanna go to sleep, sweetheart?" I ask, knowing he has to be tired by now, it's the middle of the night, well, more like early morning. "Yeah." He whispers
