"R-really?" I ask in disbelief. "Ya" Shannon says again. I can't believe it. Not only is she not mad at me - but she actually like me back. "Uhm- d-do y-you - I mean- w-would you w-would you wanna-" "Go on a date?" Shannon finishes my sentence. "Y-yes t-that's what I was trying to say." I state, I can tell i'm blushing, embarrassed, I look at my feet. "Do you wanna go on a date? Shannon asks me. OMG. She's actually asking me out. Shannon Taylor asked me out. I'm literally screaming inside. "Yes." I reply, extremely excited, but trying to not look creepy "Maybe this Thursday?" Shannon asks "Yes." I say with a huge smile, probably looking really creepy but I can't help it. "I would ask where should I pick you up at -but we kind of live at the same place now" she said jokingly. "Yeah. But i'm not complaining." I reply happily. "I could pick you up now- literally." Shannon said, smiling "piggy back ride?" I ask "Of course." She replies "Hey uh- could we just not tell Johnnie and Bryan were like- a thing?" She asks before picking me up "Yea- I'm kinda nervous about it too- I've never dated a girl before." I say shyly "I'll happily be your first." She said, smiling, while putting me on her back, carrying me back to the living room.
