So, while I was laughing evilly, Yuki was smiling triumphantly. I gotta say, she did good on the whole taking Misa's Death Note thing. L seemed like he was considering this, while Near looked slightly unsure about taking our word. Mello didn't seem to really care, mainly just because he was too busy eating chocolate bars. That leaves Light, Matsuda, and probably everyone else. I don't really remember all their names, so I'm not gonna bother inner monolingualing about them. Light didn't seem to care, but tried to act surprised. Matsuda was in shock basically, probably because Misa Misa was his 'hero'. I don't know.

"Hmm, the Death Note? Yuki, how do you know how the Death Note works?" Mello said, nonchalantly looking around the room. Oh no. And we're done for. She just HAD to tell them, didn't she? I feel bad for her, but I want to watch this play out, because I'm just the BEST friend ever. She didn't seem fazed at all by Mello's question, and just smiled.

"Oh, well that's easy! I just opened the book. The directions for using the book are right in the front!" 

"Hmm..." L murmured when he picked up the Death Note," Well, (y/n), Yuki. You may leave now. We will contact you as soon as we need to. Goodbye." 

I nodded and grabbed Yuki before rushing out of the apartment. Well, that was a first. Being kicked out of a detective's apartment is getting scratched off my bucket list. Yuki was laughing for some reason, which made me distracted, and made me trip and fall on the floor. 

"(y/n), get up, I don't want to have a face plant growing in the hallway." Yuki chuckled, almost falling down on the floor too. I just stayed down and muttered stuff at her. She chuckled again, before saying. "If you don't get up, I'm not going to bring you ice cream."

"I"M UP! I"M UP!!!" I yelled, jumping up at an insane speed, before running out of the building. ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!
