Death Note x reader (guys x reader)

Hey guys. It's me, Writer-chan. I... I just wanted to thank everyone for all of the support you have given to this story! I mean, this was made almost two years ago! And it sure shows it, like a grandma in short shorts. Put some pants on please. If you go back and read this whole thing through, it's just dead memes.

Like, I'm surprised there isn't a "My name is Jeff" line in this whole shit-show. 

But somehow, you guys powered through it! And so, whether you are a long time reader or just spammed through it today because you have nothing to do with your life, thank you. I mean it with everything I have! If it hadn't been for all of you guys, I might have just deleted this story all together.

And no matter how long you've been a part of this little family thing we got going on here, you stayed for something. And whether it was all the dick jokes, or the fact the plot is non-existent and it's like if Family Guy was a fanfiction, or you were hooked by Near's off the chain personality, there's one thing I know all of you are here for. 

You're here to laugh. God knows it's not because of the writing that you stayed. I mean, come on. If you go back to the "Annoying L" part, You said to L, "Deez Nuts." What's sad is at the time I actually thought it was funny. 

But, all in all, you guys find this story entertaining. I like writing it, and you like reading the shenanigans that arise from it. You all have inspired me so much! I know right now that I'm a better writer today because of everything you all did for me two years ago, or just today. I love all of you guys so much!

I think sometimes about going back to the earlier chapters and editing them, but when I see the dates they were published and read through them again, I almost cry. You all have done so much for me, and I could never repay that.

So thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Guys, I don't even know what to say! You're all so wonderful! I hope one day I can make you guys feel as happy as I do.

Now, This next part is going to be a bit...unrelated to everything I just said up there? These are NOT spoilers for the next one! I mean, I haven't even thought up a plan for that yet. 

Regarding the last chapter, (In which Ryuk and Light kinda kidnapped you) Ryuk and Light haven't had as much screen time as the others. Also, I kind of wanted to showcase Light manipulating people with his mind. Play mind games. At the time I started this fanfiction, I hadn't even watched all the episodes of Death Note (Something I have YET to accomplish to this day, which is kind of the main reason Near is not acting like he normally would in this whole thing) and as such, I hadn't had a full picture as to how manipulative Light is throughout the series.

So, I just this part is a bit spoilery? Er, you did just read that top bit probably. Light is going to exert the minds of the collective next chapter! The collective, being you all.
