Haley's P.O.V.

After helping Jessie we both began to walk back to my house, I then noticed he was still sitting on the chair on my porch. Before we got any closer to where he saw us I stopped and Jessie did along with me

"What's wrong?" She asked

"Uhh nothing, it's just don't want to go home just yet" I smiled nervously

Jessie peered up from the fence to see Justin was still sitting there "Is it because of him?"

I looked down and slowly nodded

"I always thought he was creepy, just stay away from him, Daryl should be back soon"

"Thanks"

"Come on" Jessie said as she put her arm around me and we began to walk the other way

A couple days later

I looked up at the sky, the sun was already going down and the clouds didn't look too well. Daryl had been out with Aaron for while. They would go outside the walls. I didn't mind, then again because I hadn't seen Justin for quite some time. And when I did I felt a little creeped out. He isn't the same as he was in high school

"Hey" Rick said as he approached the porch but didn't a step up

"Hey" I greeted back with a smile

"How are you feeling?"

I nodded "Pretty good"

"Alright, well it looks like the storm is closing in, you should stay inside. Daryl had to take care of a favor he was asked by, he won't be long"

"Thanks Rick"

He nodded "Of course, goodnight"

"Goodnight" I said as he walked away

I turned around and walked back inside. I sat on the couch and listened to the silence. I moved my hand up and down my stomach as I softly laughed. I'm having Daryl Dixon's baby. It doesn't matter if we live in this world now, it's still amazing. I looked outside and the sun had already gone down, it was now dark and the thunder began to rumble. It slightly grew louder. My eyes began to slowly droop, they opened when I heard a strange noise coming from outside. It sounded as if was coming from next to the house. I stood up and walked to the front door as I walked outside. The thunder roared this time it was really getting closer. The noise continued and I followed it. I walked to the side of the house

"Justin? What are you doing?" I asked as I approached him

He looked up at me "Nothing, just chopping wood" He said putting down the ax and the wood was in front of him

I nervously chuckled "Right now? Justin it's night, and there's a storm coming in"

"Where's Daryl?"

"He had to take care of a favor, he shouldn't be long"

From the semi light I had he seemed as if Justin was smirking

"You should be getting home" I said as I turned around

"Wait" He said

I turned around and he approached me only standing a few feet away

"I just wanted to say something"

I simply looked at him waiting for an answer

"I just wanted to say how much I've missed you, you know because I haven't seen you in a long time"

I nodded "Okay, well goodnight"

Before I could turn around he grabbed my wrist tightly

"What are you doing? Let me go" I said trying to budge but he only held tighter

He laughed "I don't think so"

The thunder clapped and the rain began to fall

"You know that wasn't all I wanted to say, I'm jealous, because he don't deserve to be with you, I do. I've always been that guy"

"Justin let go!" I said beginning to yell

"I don't think so" His voice grew angry as he knocked me to the ground

I couldn't even get a word out he began to beat down on me. The rain began to pour down even harder and I was defenseless against him. The only noise I let out were groans of pain, the rain poured even harder. He continued to hit me and kick me repeatedly in the stomach and the pain only grew by the second

"You were always a slut in high school anyways" He gave me a few hard hits before he walked away

I could hardly move, tell the truth I didn't want to. The thunder only continued as did the rain. I reached below me and felt something. Once I brought my hand up to me and saw blood. No, oh no please. I stayed on the ground as I groaned over and over in pain. It was too much, my eyes closed as the rain didn't stop. Neither did the thunder. That was all I heard before I passed out.

Pain. Pain was all I felt. It was all I could feel. I looked up at the ceiling, I could hear voices all around me, the light is so bright. I could see faces peered over me but my vision was too blurry to recognize. I groaned and yelled in pain

"Come on we have to keep her down, I can't do this if she keeps squirming" Denise Cloyd said. She was closest to a doctor we had

I yelled because of the pain that was on every inch of my body

"Keep her down!" Denise yelled

I felt a sharp pain in my arm before it completely went dark

I slowly opened my eyes to see the most handsome man I've ever seen

"Hi" I softly spoke

"Hi" Daryl said as he rubbed my cheek "I'm so happy your okay"

"How's the baby?" I asked

Daryl looked down then back at me "You need to rest okay"

"Daryl"

He let out a took breath "Haley"

"How's the baby?" I asked once again thinking the worse

For that one moment he almost let out all emotions "I'm sorry Hales" He choked on his tears that were slowly but surely falling down

My heart fell and my eyes filled with instant tears "No" I began to shake my head "Please"

Daryl took my hand "Haley" He said choking on his tears
