Rooster Teeth One Shots

One day can change in an instant, by one news bulletin.

My headphones are ripped off my head, followed by a loud squeal. 

"B! Don't do it!" My chair is turned around to face a soaking wet Dan,  holding a large glass of water. My eyes widen.

"Gav step away from her." He says chuckling.

"You won't attack her... Don't do it B!"

"Yeah I will." He says before chucking the glass on both of us. I scream and curl up into a ball. 

"Daniel Charles Gruchy!" I yell standing up. "Give me a hug." I say putting my arms out.

"No."

"Come on.... hug your wittle sister." I say rushing towards him clinging onto him before he could stop me. 

"Twigs get off of me!" He stays pushing me back laughing. I fall back and am caught by a squawk, I get turned around and bombarded with a kiss.

"Hello love." My British boyfriend said smiling. 

"Hello birdy." I tease before kissing him again. 

"Jesus Gav, if you have to kiss her, at least let her breathe!" Dan says chuckling. We pull away and I flip him off as Gav wraps his arms around my waist. Geoff rushes in looking at us panicked. 

"Geoff... are you okay?" I ask worried.

"Guys..." He pants fumbling with the TV remote before turning it on.

'England is once again at war. It has been officially declared that every British man between the ages of eighteen and fifty must fight for our Queen and country, no matter where they are in the world.' 

All the colour drains from my face, my eyes instantly filling with tears. I look up at Gavin he is staring at the tv shocked, he looks down at me and cups my cheeks. 

"Hey, it's going to be okay." He says giving a small smile that I know is fake. I open my mouth but no words actually come out. I just throw my arms around him and hug him tight, he hugs me back, stroking my hair and reassuring me. I gasp and let go looking at Dan before hugging him as well, I'm crying my eyes out now. Dan holds me tight, staying strong for the both of us. 

"I can't lose both of you."

Today was the day. I snuggle further into Gavin, his arms around me, holding me tight. Both of our eyes wide open, neither of us had slept at all. 

"I still think I should go back as well." 

"No, you need to stay here, with the others. You guys need each other." He croaked. I propped myself up on one elbow and looked at him. 

"I need you more." I say trying not to cry, he sighs and kisses the top of my head. 

"Everything will be fine... I promise you."

"How can you promise that? Gavin this isn't a video game... this is real life. If you die... you..." I try to finish the sentence but the words can't leave my mouth. 

"We had fun last night though." He says winking and flashing his trademark cheesy grin, I shake my head and try to smile.

"When do you have to go?" 

"Dan will be here in about ten minutes." He says, his smile fading.

Those ten minutes were the quickest ones to ever go by. One second I was lying in bed the next I was hugging my two boys goodbye. I hug Dan first.
