I sighed and walked into my apartment, walking straight into my room. I got changed into trackies and a large top and climbed into bed, curling up into a ball under the duvet. I closed my eyes tight and sighed quietly. A small knock come from the door but I ignored it burying my head under my pillow. The side of my bed dipped and a hand touched my shoulder gently.

"Bad day?" I opened my mouth but no words came out, just a shaky breath. My head was lifted off of the pillow and onto his lap. "It's okay. I'm here." The sound of his British voice made me feel calmer instantly. Gav stroked my head gently, I listened to his breathing trying to slow down my own.

"Be back in a min," he whispered getting up and walking out. I sighed and got up walking into my bathroom, shutting and locking the door. I looked in the mirror in disgust. You're vile. Why does Gavin bother with you? He pities you. You're just dead weight.

"SHUT UP!" I yelled throwing a glass at the mirror smashing both of the items. Tears started to flow down my face as I tried breath slowly.

"(Y/N)?" Gav said quietly trying to open the door. "(Y/N) open the door... please." I sighed giving in and opened the door to see  Gavin looking at me worried. He took my hand and led me out into the living room. He sat me down on the sofa before walking into the kitchen, he walked back in holding some toilet paper and a bowl of water. He placed them on the coffee table and sat down next to me. He wet some loo roll and placed it on my face. I flinched in fright.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"You cut your face... there might be glass stuck," he said quietly, gently cleaning the wound. I sat quietly, trying not to flinch in pain.
"Sorry," he whispered trying to be gentle. I smiled and touched his leg.

"It's not your fault."

"What happened...? In the bathroom?" he asked quietly. I sighed and looked down.

"I-I just got angry at myself."

"About what?"

"You," I whispered, barely audible. He lifted up my head and looked at me, he looked confused.

"W-What about me?" he stuttered. I opened my mouth but no words came out. "(Y/N?)"

"Whydoyoubotherwithme?" I asked quickly. He looked at me confused.

"Wot?"

"W-Why do you bother with me?" I asked slower, looking back down at my lap.

"(Y/N)," he whispered quietly, "I don't know what I would do without you." He lifted my head up so I was looking into his green eyes. "I see you everyday at work and at home and I still don't feel like I see you enough. Your smile can light up an entire room. And I know you don't smile a lot anymore but I think that makes your smile even more special. You are always here for me no matter what and I look up to you for that. You don't understand how much I care about you and I will always be here for you. You are my sunshine, and you always will be.  I don't bother with you. I help you. I care about you. I-I love you."

I looked and listened to him talk in shock. No one had ever said something like that to me before. Everyone had always shunned me to the side, so I wasn't used to someone being so nice to me. His final words finally clicked in my head.

"Y-You what?" I asked in shock. He looked at me nervously before looking down.

"I love you," he muttered. I smiled and lifted his face up so our eyes were locked.

"I love you too Gavin." His face lit up. He leant forward and our lips touched softly. As we pulled away I smiled, my face feeling incredibly hot.

"You're so cute when you blush," he whispered. I shook my head and kissed his cheek, "you really are."

"Thank you... for looking after me," I said smiling.

"Anything for my sunshine."
