Gus X Reader

I turned the pasta down and opened a can of tuna. I was really excited because Gus was finally coming home, he had been away at a convention for a few days and I had started to miss him. I usually am okay when he goes away but for some reason this time I've missed him like he's been away for years. The door closed quietly as I put the pasta pot down. I smiled and popped my head out of the doorway to see Gus taking his shoes off. 

"Hi honey." I said smiling at him. He looked up and smiled back. 

"Hi sweetheart," he said quietly, I could instantly tell he was tired. I wanted to give him a huge hug but I could tell he wanted space. I didn't mind. 

"How was the flight?" I called as I walked back into the kitchen so I could serve up our dinner. He walked in behind me and put his bag onto the table before kissing my cheek.

"Good, filled with stupid Gav questions, he was extra hyper." I chuckled and served up our tuna pasta. I turned around and passed him his bowl. 

"Table or couch?" 

"Couch," he replied instantly. I nodded and we sat on the couch and turned the tv on. I put Game of Thrones on and we began to eat. We were silent but it was a happy silence. After we had finished eating Gus slipped his hand into mine as we continued to watch. Gus wasn't the most touchy feely kind of guy. He won't smother me in cuddles or kisses. He doesn't do all that stuff that people call 'goals'. He will be romantic subtly but it's sweet. He will hold my hand or compliment me                    

After the first episode finished I looked over at Gus, he was fast asleep snoring quietly. I smiled and placed a blanket over him and kissed his cheek. I went to get up but he grabbed my hand in his sleep and pulled me back down. I cuddled up to him slightly, a small smile appeared on his face. I smiled at his cuteness and leant my head on his shoulder. I closed my eyes and heard Gus exhale happily. I fell asleep slowly listening to his heartbeat, I was happy that he was finally home.
