Chapter 16(Bella's pov): We walked to the nearest Walmart and bought Ice cream, soda, and chips. Niall realized he didn't have any money when we were at checkout and he freaked out while I payed for it. He said he would pay me back as soon as possible and I laughed knowing I would never accept the money.

We went to a Chinese restaurant and Niall ordered two full meals for himself withought remembering I was paying again. He freaked out again and got mad at himself. He was so cute.

We walked back to his apartment laughing as Niall told me a story of something that happened to him and his brother a few years ago. "What happened to your brother?" I asked after I finally stopped laughing.

Niall's smile disappeared quickly. "He...um..went to war...and...." He said quietly, not being able to finish. "Niall," I said, touching his elbow. "Im sorry, I didn't know." I said, looking him in the eye. I know that saying sorry didn't help. It didn't bring that person back to life. It couldn't make them stay home that one night so a drunk couldn't crash into them. It didn't make you feel better. He had to understand that I truly cared.

"Niall, look at me." He looked at me, his face blank and lifeless. This wasn't the Niall I knew. "Niall, I know what you're feeling right now. I do. My parents passed away when I was 12. I know that saying sorry won't help. It won't. I just want you to know that I care." I said with all seriousness in my voice.

He smiled weakly. "You care?" He asked incredulously as if this was a foreign concept. "Niall, I care." He touched my cheek with his free hand. "Thanks Bella." I give him my warmest smile and he smiles back. We continue going back to his apartment.

When we finally got there me and Niall put the stuff on the kitchen counter. It seemed too quiet. I got out my phone and searched through my playlists. I put on my favorite. "Ask for money, and get advice," Pitbull starts. Niall smiles. He knows this song. "One day, when my light is glowing, I'll be in my castle, golden" I sang along with Cristina. Niall laughs as I dramatically flip my hair.

We both start singing along to the music, him as Pitbull and me as Cristina Aguilara. We laugh through some parts because of our acting skills, which we don't have. So we danced to the rhythm, we moved to the beat, we sang to the melody. We knew exactly what we were about to do. I knew when to jump. He knew when to catch me. We thought as one.

After the song finished, we collapsed in laughter. We ate while listening to the rest of the playlist. Niall ate a lot. I finished way before him. A familiar beat came up. The song, Can't Hold Us was playing. "You know," Niall said, pausing before eating another dumpling. "Ive been the only one to rap yet." I laughed, knowing where this was going. "You want me to rap." I said looking at him. He nodded while eating noodles. "Fine." I groan, waiting for the rapping part of the song come on.

"Return of the Mac, get up, what it is, what it does, what it is, what it isn't, looking for a better way to get up outta bed instead of getting on the internet and checking for who hit me, get up, thrift shop, pimp strut walking, little bit of humble, little bit of cautious," I start, perfect in my timing. Niall stopped eating. He stared at me, his mouth hanging slightly open. He was shocked. On the inside I laughed. He didn't think I could rap.

I finish the song and he still hasn't eaten anything since I started rapping. I stay quiet, waiting for him to say something. I smile knowing he was still in shock. "Wow." He started. "Just, wow." I laugh. The song Death Valley started playing. He started eating again. I was hungry just watching him eat.

He looked up and saw me staring at me. "You want some?" He asked withought thinking. "Yeah." I admitted, smiling shyly. He gave me his egg roll and I took it gratefully. After a second he paused. "I... just remembered... I have to...call Louis." He said nervously. He got up quickly and went to one of the empty bedrooms.

(Niall's pov): "Louis?" I say into my phone. Im freaked out. Ive never shared food with anyone before. One time Louis took the last chip from the bag and I bit his hand so hard he bleed a little. "Yeah mate? What do you want, and make it quick, Im a little busy." He chuckled. "Lou, I shared food." I say quickly, the words sounding wrong coming out of my mouth.

"Have you been drinking lately?" He asked seriously. "No, Lou Im not kidding." I say impatiently. "Is it a girl?" He asked, as if I didn't say anything. "Yes," I answer. I didn't get it. How did I share food? And forget about it. "Oh, and I forgot to have lunch because of her, too." I add. He sighs. "Niall, I think you're in love."
