Before you start reading this chapter, I just wanted to say that the song I was listening to on repeat while writing this is called Bulletproof Love by Pierce the Veil (the acoustic version) so if you want to, you can listen to that while reading. Idk.

(Edward's pov): I park in front of Bella's building, pocketing my keys. One quick look at the building told me I could buy the whole thing with one swipe of my credit card.
I go up to the third floor and head to her apartment. I hesitate before knocking.
Im so nervous.
I suddenly feel warm and my legs are trembling slightly.
I straighten my shirt and adjust my beanie a bit, wasting time.
What if she asked me about the band on my shirt?
What if she hated this band?
I zip up the sweater, making sure no one could read what the shirt said.
I sigh, annoyed as I unzipped it again.
It probably looked stupid zipped up.
I feel too awkward in these clothes.
I stand, staring at the door awkwardly. I wanted to knock but I also wanted to run away. Without thinking, I knock twice, flinching at the sound.
I immediately wish I had thought to bring her a present.
Or would that seem weird?
I don't even know what she likes.
I wait a little longer, wondering what I was going to say when she opened the door.
What if I say something stupid and she just decides Im not like able?
I want to throw up.
She still hasn't opened the door.
I hear voices, slightly muffled by the door.
Someones inside.
I knock again and the door opens, revealing two people with light pink and white cream all over their faces.
I identify one as Bella, with her unmistakeable eyes and mortified expression.
"Oh, its you." Says a blonde haired boy next to her. He starts to close the door but I quickly stop him.
He probably thinks Im Harry.
"Bella?" I ask. She hesitates before saying anything, "What are y-you doing h-here?" She stammers. I pull up my sleeve, showing my tattoos, "Im Edward. Im here to pick you up. Piercing, remember?" I say.
"Piercing? No, Bella isn't getting any piercings." The boy protests. "No, Im getting a piercing. She's picking it out." I explain. "Wait, can I just clean up really quick?" Bella squeaks, going into the hall behind them.
The boy, who's starting to annoy me, didn't invite me in. He searched my face, an angry look on his face.
"Can I come in?" I ask nervously. "I don't know. Can you?" He returns, arching a pink eyebrow. "May I come in?" I try. "Sure." He goes inside, leaving me standing in the doorway. I walk inside, closing the door carefully behind me.
The boy stands in the kitchen, adding multiple candies and other suger based products to bowls full of whipped cream with, presumably, ice cream underneath. "Where you guys making sundaes?" I ask, trying to start a conversation.
