All the monsters were freed from the underground, but humans didn't really accept them. Not saying that all humans hated them.

But the thing is, not all monsters came up to the surface.

Flowey was one of them, even if he tried to kill you, you wanted to save him. You didn't know why, you just wanted to.

"HUMAN!! HAVE YOU SEEN SANS ANYWHERE??" Papyrus asked whule looking around for his shorter brother.

"I don't know Paps. Sorry." You replied.

"I SHALL GO LOOK FOR HIM!!" He said walking off.

You all were getting ready to leave the underground, everyone was packing their stuff, you had set them free. Well, all except one.

You thought of Flowey and decided to take him to the surface with you.

"I'm going to the Ruins Papy. I'll be back." You told Papyrus and ran off.

-Time Skip-

You got to the place where it all started.

Where you found Flowey.

You started walking around, looking for Flowey. But nobody came.

"Flowey?!? ARE YOU HERE?? COME ON!! WE NEED TO GO!!" You screamed.

But the golden flower didn't show up.

"C'mon flowey!!" You yelled.

Then the flower you were looking for popped out of the golden flower bed.

"What do you want?" He asked grumpily.

"I'm taking you to the surface with me!" You replied.

"No. I'm staying here!! I don't want to. Besides, someone needs to stay here and check the flowers." He said sadly.

Instead of protesting, you hugged the tiny flower.

"WhAt ArE yOu DoInG?" He asked.

You stayed silent while hugging him.

"You know I can kill you right now right?" He said. It seemed that he tried to scare you away. But that didn't work on you.

You just shrugged.

"I can kill you in so many ways." He kept threatening you.

"Let go!"

"Please?"

"....."

"Why are you so nice to me?" He finally calmed down.

"Well...uh...Because...Uh...Let me show you." You kissed one of his petals.

He turned red and placed his petals over his burning face.

"I-I..uh...like...you too." Flowey managed to say.

He looked up and he used his vines to crawl up you arm and rest on you shoulders.

"You going or what?" He asked.

"Yeah." You replied.

You made your way towards the skeletons' house to get your stuff.

"Hey kiddo you're-" He said but stopped when he saw Flowey on your shoulders.

You saw his left eye glow blue.

"C-Calm down S-Sans!! He's fine n-now." You stuttered.

Flowey seemed to give you a look of, 'Why are you scared of this guy?'.

"Kid, let me say something. HE TRIED TO KILL YOU!!!" Sans yelled as he was about to use his magic.

"SANS STOP!!! HE'S WITH US NOW!!" You said, running up to him and holding his hand.

"Kid, why?" He asked.

"He won't hurt us. Right Flowey?" You asked.

He nodded, but groaned at the same time.

"Fine, but he's your responsibility kiddo." Sans said.

"He was from the start." You said.

"I AM NOT A THING!!" Flowey screamed. You giggled.

"You're my flower." You said, petting his petals.

He purred and leaned into your touch.

-Time Skip-

You all were were the barrier was, but that was destroyed now; it allowed the monsters to leave.

"You ready?" You asked Flowey.

"Ready as I'll ever be." He said nervously.

"Let's go." Sans said as everyone started walkibg above the surface.

"Woah!" Flowey said in awe as the sun was setting on the horizon.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" You said.

"Not as beautiful as you though." Flowey said very quietly for you not to hear. But you did hear him.

"Thanks!" You said.

"You heard NOTHING!!" He said.

"Yes I did." You smirked.

He turned red and looked the other way angrily.

You always teased him after all that.
