Reset (Sans x reader)

"(Y/N) RUN!!!" You heard Sans yell at a distance.

You didn't know what to do, whether to run and leave him. Or stay with him and get killed.

The fact that Chara was about to get both of you. The girl scared you - no, that monster scared you. Although, you had Sans with you. That alone gave you enough confidence to face her.

"NO SANS!! I'M NOT LEAVING YOU!!" You screamed.

"YOU HAVE TO!!" Sans was crying by now.

You didn't have the time to question how the short skeleton could cry.

"SANS!! I'm not changing my mind. I'm staying here and that's that!!" You yelled.

Sans stayed quiet.

Oh, and, by the way. You and Sand were in the judgement hall. Chara was attacking Sans while he tried to make you leave. You saw Chara about to kill Sans.

"SANSS!!! LOOK OUT!!!" You yelled once again as you ran and pushed Chara off him.

"Thanks." He said.

"No problem." You replied.

"You idiots think that you can beat ME??? Ha!! What a joke." Chara snickered.

Chara suddenly launched at you, knife firmly gripped in her hand. You dodged her first attack, but struggled for the following attacks after the first.

Sans attacked Chara, but was terrified if he would hit you. No one would want that now would you? Well, in this case. Chara would.

"Just go and DIE!!!" Chara kept repeating the same words over and over as you kept dodging her attacks.

But Sans just kept killing her, attack after attack, but she just used her Determination to come back.

Then, Chara suddenly pounced on Sans and stabbed him, leaving quite a huge gash on his chest.

Sans looked down, terrified. But his face changed, he was smiling.

"I guess this means it's all over then. Huh?" He said.

You looked at him in pure shock and horror.

"I'm goin to Grillby's." He said as he walked off.

You ran and caught up to him. Just in time to catch him when he was about to fall.

"(Y/N) I...just...wanna say...o-one thing.." He gasped.

"Sans!! Just hold out a little longer!" You said as you took out your cellphone.

"(Y/N)..I love you...I'll c-come back..." Sans said.

"Sans...No no no no!!!! SANS DON'T LEAVE ME!!" You screamed.

But it was too late.

He had taken his last breath.

You saw as his whole being was turned into dust, his soul shattering like a fragile piece of coloured glass.

You cried and cried.

"S-Sans...I love y-you too..." You cried even harder.

But then everything went black.

Everything reset once again.

Just like it always does. And always will.

But, sometimes. You just have to face the facts.

Not everyone gets their happily ever after.

Not even you.
