It was a normal day at Grillby's. As usual, Grillby was polishing the same cup.

But something was out of place.

A crucial detail.

There was no Sans.

"Wonder why Sans isn't here today...he's always here." Grillby thought.

But you could say he thought too soon.

Sans walked into the restaurant, but there was someone else with him.

A girl with (H/L) (H/C) hair and (E/C) eyes was walking beside Sans.

"Woah....she's pretty....Sans is lucky" Grillby thought as he felt his face burn.

He panicked when Sans and the girl sat right in front of him.

"Whaddya want, kid?" Sans asked.

Grillby took the time to analyse the girl. She was beautiful in his perspective. But he thought he couldn't win her, all because of Sans.

"Are you two a couple?" Grillby asked.

Both looked really confused and Sans chuckled.

"Nope. Why Grillbs?" He smirked. Seems like he already knows about Grillby's sudden crush.

"No reason" He replied.

The girl was just sitting there. Waiting.

"Hey Grillby! This is my friend, (Y/N). (Y/N) this is Grillby." Sans introduced the two.

"Hi." Grillby said.

"Hi." (Y/N) replied.

"Are you going to order?" Grillby asked Sans.

"Uh, yeah. Whaddya want?" Sans asked you.

"I'll have (Burger/Fries)" You said.

"Two orders of (Burger/Fries)" Sans said.

Grillby nodded and left.

(Y/N) was curious about Grillby. She felt butterflies in her stomach when he talked to her. When he looked at her, she felt her face tirn bright red.

There was no doubt that Grillby and (Y/N) were meant to be.

"So, kid. Do you like Grillby? I saw you staring at him."

(Y/N) blushed.

"N-No I don't. I was curious about the fact that he's a fire monster." (Y/N) quickly replied.

"Heh. Whatever you say kiddo." Sans smirked.

Just after, Grillby came back with their food. But then Sans started to get up.

"Hey kid. Just stay here for a moment. I need to attend to something important and I can't take you with me. Grillby will keep ya company ok?" Sans said as he raced to the door and left.

It was closing time soon, by now everyone had left. The only people there were Grillby and (Y/N).

They both just stood there, in total silence. It was pretty awkwark if you ask me. But then, (Y/N) broke the silence.

"So. How do you not burn anything you touch?" She asked.

"I don't know really. It just doesn't happen." Grillby replied.

"If I touch your face. Will I get burned?" She asked.

"I don't know." Grillby once again replied.

"Come here." She said.

Grillby was confused. But did as she asked.

She suddenly touched his cheek, but didn't get burned. Grillby backed away.

"Did that answer your question?" He asked.

"Yup!" She exclaimed.

Then Sans came back.

"Ok kid, time for us to go. Put the food on my tab Grillby." Sans said as they exited the restaurant.

From that day on, (Y/N) would ho alone sometimes to see Grillby. And they confessed.
