Chapter 14- No No No

Selina's room while staying at Luna Moon pack

Selina's PoV

No, no, no, no. This can't be happening. Think, think, think. I can't stay here, if I do, my wolf will try taking control. I guess the only thing to do is turn and run. Yes, I'll do that.

As quickly as I could I turned, running away from him. How could I have been so stupid? I should of being paying attention to what I was doing instead of being so closed off, then I would have sensed him and seen him walking my way. Goddess, I'm so, so stupid.

Now that we have touched, the mate bond will start to pull us towards each other more. Goddess, no. I can't be with him, it's breaking my heart. Everyday I see him with other girls, doing what he does.

My wolf was howling with joy and excitement as our mate bumped into us, feeling the sparks and tingles throughout our body. I knew he felt it all too, the shock on his face said it all. I know it was both our faults, but now all we had to do was look into each other's eyes, which is part of the fourth step.

The first one is to make eye contact, which luckily, we hadn't done just yet. The second was to touch our mates, unluckily for me, that's what just happened. The third step is to mark your mate, and the last is completing the mating bond which means sleeping with them.

Even though the scent is so mouthwatering to us, it just means we can smell their scent before we can sense them. But, that doesn't connect the mate bond fully, it just makes you aware they're around you.

"James, my room, now." I say in the mind link, I needed help and fast.

Now that we had touched, we would be able to sense if our mates were to sleep with someone else. I know now that whenever he sleeps with someone else, it causes a pain in my chest, making me feel like I was being stabbed.

"What's up, Princess?"James says as he walks into the room, jumping on my bed.

"Umm, I guess you could say Luka and I bumped into each other in the hall. So now, because of this stupidity, I guess you could say the mate pull is connected."

"Oh Princess, I'm so sorry. I know it's going to be painful if he does what he's doing now. But, you have to tell Connor now that this has happened. I will not watch you in pain."

"No, I can't tell anyone, I can't James. This is all too much. I'll just have to go through the pain of it. It doesn't matter who knows, it won't change what he is."

"I will be by your side all the way, Princess. I will help you through it all, but you can't do this forever."

"I know, but I can't reject him the pain will be much worse then any of this. It could kill me James."

"Shh Princess, I know. But don't think like that, you have me, the pack, and your parents. We all love you, too much to let you lose yourself with all of this. Even if you rejected him, even though it would be painful, you of all people would pull through it. You're strong, baby girl. So don't think badly like that, please."

I guess he is right, but I still don't know what to do. Now that all of this has happened, it's going to break my heart much more than it ever did. Feeling the pain as he sleeps with another, knowing that I will feel it all.

As I lay in James' arms, I slowly let the darkness take over. James runs his hands up and down my back in a comforting manner, making the darkness draw me in completely.
