It has now being a month since the war, my father thought that now was the time to step down meaning that I will become the alpha of the pack instead of the soon to be alpha. Selina will be also taking her place as Luna, she as already proven herself as a true Luna even before the war she always knew what had to be done to help with the plans, yes she is the mother Luna but even before knowing who she truly was, she always knew what was best even in her father pack they all loved her and now even my own pack love her to bits.
Over this last month we have become inseparable, only leaving each other sides if any of the pack needed help from one or the other. I ain't complaining as I love her to bits she is my life now, I just never pictured myself being like this with anyone at such a young age. Selina has changes everything about me she believed in me by giving me a chance when I had finally told her how I felt.
"Luka, hey earth to Luka" shaking out of my thoughts I see Selina standing in front of me holding up two dresses one was a short plain black dress that was silver around the waistline,the other was a baby blue dress with one open arm sleeve leaving the other side sleeve less. Selina knows never to ask me about woman clothing all I know is if I see something I like I point it out but that's about it.
"Yea princess"
"Which one I can't pick and tonight as to be perfect you know how I get"
"Princess wear whatever you feel best in although I like the white strapless one with the blue flower in the middle of your chest that is tight against that body of you"
"Luka please your not helping"
"Fine the black one, here I've got something for you" pulling out the pink jewellery box that I had got for Selina. I walk over to where she is standing before passing her the box.
"What this" she looks at the box shocked that I got her a gift, I mean why wouldn't I, I love her and would buy her the world if I could.
"Open it and find out" I watch as she opens the box pulling the top off to see a gold necklace with a little key, heart and pearl on it. I see Selina smiling as tears form in her eyes at the necklace.
"It's beautiful Luka"
"The pearl is you, you are the pearl to my heart, the key is for my heart, the heart is of my own, for you hold the key to my heart as you are my pearl" as the words leave my mouth Selina brings one of her hands to her mouth covering her lips as tears slip out of her eyes.
"Oh Luka thank you" she throws her arms around my neck bring her lips to my own, kissing each other passionately, before we break away from each other breathless resting our foreheads against one another.
"I love you Selina, thank you for giving me a chance when you did,I would do anything for you if it means that I get to see that smile of yours everyday"
" I love you too Luka"
"Come we best getting ready we have our ceremony to go to "
After making our way outside hand in hand, we made our way to the stage that had being made for the evening, stepping up onto the stage my father takes this as a sign to silence the pack. Once they settle down my father begins.
"As you all know tonight I will be stepping down and handed the alpha title to my son, although he is my son he has shown great leadership over the last two years, he as lead this pack along with his mate into a war that nobody thought we would make it out of but yet thanks to him and his mate we are all here today, with that alone I can assure you all he and his mate will lead this pack into a new light"
The pack howls and cheers at my father words.
"Luka if you could please step forward" stepping forward i kneel in front of my father with my right hand over my heart before I say what I have to say.
"I Luka Troy the son of the Luna moon alpha, promise to protect, love, honour respect and meet the needs of the pack to the best of my ability putting you own needs before my own as your new alpha"
"Selina you please" my father says as I stay where I am, I feel Selina join me by my side copying my actions but instead of being In front of my father she is in front of my mother.
"I Selina Young the daughter of silver moon alpha, promise to you all that I will love, honour, help, be there at all times but most of all I promise you that I will protect you with my life meeting you own needs before my own I will stand by the alpha as his mate and your new Luna"
As my father and mother both step forward cutting our hands, my mother takes Selina hand and my father takes my own as we all shake hands sealing the deal, feeling the full power of alpha throughout my body making my wolf howl letting the pack know that I am now they alpha and Selina they Luna.
As Selina and I turn to the pack I see everyone kneeling with they head bowed down in respect.
"Alpha, Luna" they all chant before howling to the moon at they new alpha and Luna.
"together we will chase the moon as for tonight is a new start to a full moon"
