Chapter 25- Power

Selina's PoV

Ever since I found out that I could have any power that I could think of, I have been practicing many of the different powers.

I have learned how to levitate objects, as well as people. It was interesting, learning how to focus on a group of different people in a crowd, before lifting them in the air.

Secondly, I have learned how to make fireballs with my hands, before sending them flying out in different directions.

The more I focused on what I want, the more I learnt it. No matter what the power was it was there.

But another thing I realized, was that the more I used my powers, the more it drained my energy. As of now, I am learning how to throw knives at targets. Aiming them straight to the heart. I had set one of the targets on fire by accident, as I threw the knife I pictured it hitting the target then setting it on fire. What can I say? I have a violent side.

My father has mentioned some things about the four elements, air, water, fire, and earth, so I thought it would be good to try them out. First, I tried water. I would make the water float in the air, then send it dripping over a few of the pack members. I couldn't help but laugh at their faces.

Next, I tired air. I made the wind blow in all different directions in strong waves. Which was totally funny, as the pack members fought hard against it. By the end of it all the girl's hair looked like a mess, sticking up in every direction.

I didn't need to try fire, as I had that mastered. So, I tried earth. Making earthquakes happen, the forest ground would open up and the tree roots were the only things the pack members could hold on to.

I asked Luka if I could test something on one of the rogues, as I couldn't risk a member of our pack by doing it. It was something my father had asked me to try to see if I could do, as he had read about it. He wanted to see if I could do it to one person, then just maybe I would be able to do it with more.

So here I was with Luka in the holding cells, with one of the rogues that had been caught on the land last night by patrol. Walking in I notice he is chained down, which is good, 'cause what I'm about to do will make him scream in pain. Here goes nothing.

I stand there, picturing all the blood leaving his body, taking his last breath. As I open my eyes to look at him, he starts to scream in pain. I notice blood slowly start to leave his mouth and ears. Before I accidentally kill him, I quickly snap out of it, leaving him looking as pale as ever. I know he may not make it after what I have just done.

"What was that?" Luka asked, looking shocked at what I had just done.

"That was me draining the blood from his body, you should know that."

"That's kind of scary, ...freaky. Remind me never to get on the wrong side of you." I couldn't help but laugh at him. I would never hurt him in that way, after all, killing him would kill me.

"Come on, let's get out of here. I'm tired and it's being a long day. Working with all these powers sure ain't helping either."

"Would my princess like to be carried by her Prince Charming?"

"Ahahahah, please don't make me laugh. You, Prince Charming? More like Mr. Player."

"Aw come on, that's not fair, you know it."

"Whatever Luka I'm tired. I'm going to bed, you can do whatever you'd like."

I didn't wait for a reply. I just couldn't be bothered anymore, I just wanted to sleep, and that was exactly what I was going to do.
