Chapter 19- Accept Or Reject

Selina's PoV

As I stand with my back to his chest and his arms wrapped around me, I couldn't help but feel safe and protected. Still, I could feel my heart beating as I waited to hear his answer. After telling him what I was truly feeling inside, what he was doing to me. I have never broken down like this before. These feelings are all new, yet it was breaking my heart everyday, knowing what he was doing. Then to feel him doing it, causing me stabbing pains in my chest, breaking the last pieces of my heart. I couldn't hold it in anymore. The brave me is gone, and I poured my heart out to him. Now it all was in his hands.

"Selina, I can't stop thinking about everything about you. Me wanting you, seeing another mans arms on you, seeing him kiss you, it breaks my heart each time. I know that I have hurt you so much more than what you have to me, and I can never change that. But if you can forgive me, I need you as much as you need me. What do you say we start over, Selina. Accept one another, just like we should have done at the start." I was shocked at his words. Could I forgive him? Maybe so, but it would take time before I allowed myself to trust him. I know I need him as much as he needs me. I'm done with being brave and ignoring him, it's time to face this head on, to forgive but not yet forget.

"I'll forgive you, but I won't forget what you have done. What you did was far worse than what I have ever done to you. I will give you just one chance. Hurt me once and I'm gone, I will not look back, I promise you that, Luka. No more." Pulling myself away from him I make my way out of the bathroom. I'm tried and I just want to relax as I've had enough for one day. Call me stupid but, he is my lifetime soulmate, and I know that nobody else can make me feel the way he makes me feel. So I know that this new chance is a good start.

Aaargggg. Pain all over, that's all I can feel right now. My head feels like I've been hit with a hammer, my body feels like it's on fire. I clasp at the bottom of the stairs, I hear footsteps but all I can do is scream in pain as my bones start to snap, slowly and painfully.

"Selina." Luka. "Baby, look at me. Your body is preparing to shift. I need to get you outside for that, I'm going to have to carry you, ok?" I couldn't speak as pain shot throughout my whole body. Why now of all days, why?

"Everyone move, now." Luka says using his alpha voice. He picks me up and carries me out into the forest. Having Luka nearby was taking a considerate amount of the pain away as my bones continued to snap. One after the other, while nothing but screams left my mouth. I could feel myself falling into the darkness as my eyes closed. I could hear Luka, but yet he sounded so far away.

"Hello my child." What, who's that? I can't see anything but darkness. Just then a bright light started to appear, before me stood a woman. She wore a long, white dress that flows out around her. Her hair is long, down to her lower back, and it was bright blonde. Some would say even as bright as the sun. She was absolutely breathtaking. Wait, this is the Moon Goddess. I had seen her when I first got my wolf but didn't shift.

"Moon Goddess, is that really you? It's been so long. But wait, why am I here?"

"It's time, my child that you and Silver, your wolf, become one. I brought you hear so you wouldn't feel anymore of the pain, but you must go back now my child. You are to speak with Alpha Gareth Troy. He will fill you in on the rest my child. Goodbye for now." As she disappears I slowly feel myself being pull back into darkness, before finally opening my eyes. Not only do I see Luka still by my side wearing a shocked expression, but I am also laying on the ground in my white silver wolf.

"Selina, your wolf is the most beautiful of all the wolves. Do you think she would like to play with Blake, which is my own wolf?" I look at Luka, before slowly turning to stand up. Although my legs are jello for a few seconds, I manage to find my feet, before I start to chase my tail, letting out a happy bark.

"I think that means yes, I know they would both love nothing more than to play."

With that, Luka goes behind a tree to strip and shift into his wolf. As Luka steps out from behind the tree, I couldn't help but admire his wolf. His fur, black as the night sky, yet his eyes are as white as the moonlight, making his black pupils stand out.

Luka walks over to me where I am, and starts licking around my face. He then rubs his scent all over me. After awhile I began to feel like being mischievous, so I make a run for it into the trees, leaving him to chase after me. I finally feel at one with my wolf and nature.
