Chapter 23- 2 Weeks Later Truth

Selina's PoV

It's been a whole month since my pack came to the Luna Moon pack. A full two weeks since Luka and I marked each other and completed the mating bond.

Both packs have been training nonstop, preparing for the unforeseen. We have heard nothing about a war yet, and it is making us all question if there even will be a war at all.

"Baby girl, your father is here. Can you meet us in the office, please." Luka says in the mate bond that we share. I was now a part of Luka's pack, cutting the link with my father's. Connor wasn't happy about it at all, but he couldn't do anything about it.

"Sure, be right there, I'm just finishing getting ready."

"Can I come watch?"

"No, stop being a horny dog." I didn't wait for his reply, as I blocked him out. I smirk, putting on my shorts and Nike top, before pulling on my grey converse.

I walked into Luka's office, seeing my father standing with my mother. As they turn towards me, I run into my father's arms. I hug him just like I would always do when he had been away on business. What can I say, I'm a daddy's girl all the way. My mother and I just weren't as close as she was with Connor.

"It's nice to see you too, Princess." My father says, laughing and running his hand through my hair in a fatherly way, like he always does.

"What are you doing here?"

"I have to speak with you and Alpha Troy. It seems we have received a letter in your name. We thought that you should read this in person." My father hands me an envelope with my name on it, but underneath my name was the words 'your ours, Princess.' written in red. I open the envelope, taking out the paper inside it, before reading it.

Hello Mother Luna, or should I say Selina, the daughter of the Silver Moon's alpha himself.

I knew Luka was reading it over my shoulder, but I didn't care, I needed more answers. How did they know, when nobody else did? If someone else knew, why didn't they tell me, rather than leaving me to find out on my own?

"You better sit down." I could see that he didn't want to tell me, but he also knew I was stubborn and wouldn't let him leave until he told me. So I do as he says and sit on the sofa near the window.

"It all started when you were first born. The moment we first noticed the mark on your back, we had no idea what it meant. Until one day, I was given a book of the foreseen future by my brother. It was in that book, that I had learned more of the Mother Luna. I have read things that are not written in any books you have ever read yourself."

"How could this be? The book of the foreseen future was meant to have been lost many centuries ago, when the first war between our kind and hunters occurred." It was true, the first war that occurred between our own kind and the hunters happened because they thought that our kind were just killing machines. Even to this day, hunters are still out there trying to bring us down. At the time of the war, the hunters had tried to take every book knowingly written about us. That means that even books that tell everything that will happen in the future were taken. They took our foreseen future. Our future was determined by the moon goddess herself, before she was taken from Earth and placed in the heavens above. When she was taken she was made immortal, leaving her wolf to be reborn inside of another. Therefore, she would be known as the Reborn Mother Luna, the mother of all wolves.

"That is what we thought, but it's seems not. Anyways, in the book it was said that the alpha of the Silver Moon pack will have a son in 1999, which is as the same year as your brother. Then a daughter from our pack would be born in 2000, the same year as yourself. It is said that the daughter of the alpha will be the most powerful of all the Reborn Mother Luna's. That this child will have any power she chooses to hold, and that she will wear her own marking of a tattoo on her back, just like the one you have."

"But why didn't I shift into my wolf until now, and why it is that I am the only silver and white wolf?"

"Please let me finish. It wasn't until you got your wolf at thirteen and didn't shift, that I realized the Mother Luna does not shift until she is at the age of sixteen. That is when she will be able to fully handle the change, as it can be pretty painful, as you know yourself. That is why you have only just shifted, as for being the only silver and white wolf, well as you know our family genes have royal blood in them. What you nor anybody else know for that matter was that the Royal blood comes from my own side of the family, making you a white wolf. As for the Mother Luna, it is known that she was a silver wolf, which is probably why you are both. Selina you are her. The most powerful wolf. This letter here, these people who bring war don't not know how powerful you will be Selina. Especially now, since you have mated and have Luka at last."

"Wait, I don't understand. What has that got to do with all this."

"You haven't told her, have you Luka." I look at Luka, shocked as to what I didn't know that I should. All he does is shake his head no, while my father laughs at him. "I thought so."

"You see honey, Luka here can't control his wolf when he is pissed off. He has to inject himself with wolfsbane to make his wolf sleep or at least weaken him. All he sees is red, especially when it comes to you."

"Why didn't you tell me that Luka?" I could see the hurt flash in his eyes at my father's words, and the fact he had not told me himself.

"I couldn't bring myself to tell you Selina. How do you think it makes me feel knowing I can't control my own wolf. I'm an alpha Selina, I'm meant to control my wolf, not try to kill another for something that isn't even a threat." I knew it hurt him as he spoke the words, but I also knew there was something else.

"You see my dear daughter, unknown to everyone, even Luka himself is one of the most powerful male wolves, Blake. His father and I also are one of him. Blake is the Moon Goddesses mate, so now you see why you two were made soulmates." I look at Luka, shocked at all these news, to see himself shocked at this new information.

"You see, as well as the Mother Luna being reborn, this time around her own soulmate has been reborn. This means that you will be the most powerful Mother Luna to have ever been reborn. As your one true mate stands by your side, you both feed off of each other's energy. So you see Selina, Mr. Player over here will help you bring peace between us once and for all."
