It was 2017, and it was as normal as any other year. The trees were swaying, leaves blowing, and the packs were still on the brink of peace. With only 209 humans in the small town of Willow Creek, there wasn't much of a chance of humans finding out about us. But we still had to be careful.

There are four packs that surround Willow Creek, one on each side. There is the Baarish Pack, they're known to be excellent swimmers. Will the river close to them, they'll never have a chance of starvation if the prey around us start to dwindle. They're a normal sized pack,  Alpha Gage being one of the most friendly Alpha's. Baarish is known as one of the most social packs, they're always somewhere about.

There's also the Knoton Pack. They live up near the mountains, and they're known to be very sneaky. Many have said that if they attack you, you'll never know its them. And if they kill you, you'll have no idea what happened. They're a relatively small pack, as most of them never find their mate. Alpha Jackson doesn't like to socialize, and it's rare to find him away from his pack.

Then comes the Pallaton Pack. They're the ones that keep order of the four. The Pallaton are known as fierce fighters, who have short tempers. Each one is specially trained at a young age to protect themselves. They're located deep in the woods, where most of the packs are unsure of the exact location. They're the farthest away, and seem to have the most rogue problems. Alpha Drake is very reserved, and is hard to read, and his pack are always on guard.

Lastly is the Takoda pack, which is mine. We're by far the largest pack around, which is not really the best. Our pack has been known to take anybody in.. Even rogues or criminals. Our Alpha, Alpha Clemmons, is a very forgiving man. He always believes that people can change. Our pack is made up of mainly Omegas, which is pretty ridiculous. We've never been the best fighters, and we're always the biggest target.

The four packs have always had Indian names, it's in our blood. Our groups do not believe in ridiculous names to do with blood or shadows, or anything like that. We like to stick to our heritage. Takoda means friend to everyone, while Pallaton means fighter.  Knoton means wind, and Baarish means rain.

The town of Willow Creek are very suspicious of us. They've always been very superstitious, but they follow a strict set of rules.

One. Never go anywhere by yourself.
Two. Always be aware of your surroundings.
Three. Keep contact every hour.

And their most important rule.

Four. Never go into the woods at dark.
