"So Dan and I will just meet you there then?...okay! See you soon!"

I ended the call and turned to Dan.

"Looks like we're going to town tonight!"

  "Alright!" He exclaimed.

"What time are we leaving?"
I looked at the clock that hung on the lounge wall.

"Well..it's 8:19pm right now, so I'd say in like...three hours?"

"Oh, okay. Where are we going?"

I smiled before I spoke.

"The Shadow Lounge."
I waited for Dan's reaction but he didn't seem to get it.

"Oh cool is that a club?"

"Yeah! It's a Gay club actually."

"I've never been to a gay club before." He answered.

"Well you are tonight! Don't worry. It's gonna be fun."

He half smiled and then kissed my cheek.

"You're gonna hate me." Dan began.

  "Why?"

"Are you sure you're feeling better?"
He asked me.

I grabbed his face firmly and kissed him on the lips with so much force that we both fell from where we were sitting.

"Yes!" I said as I pecked him two more times.

"I promise you Dan. We wouldn't be going out if I felt like shit."

I kissed him again and then got back to my feet.

"Okay no more questions Phil, I believe you."

I playfully sneered at him and went into our bedroom.

"So.." Dan's voice emerged from the door way.

"How long do you plan on us being out?"

I thought for a moment before answering him.

"Few hours...I don't know we'll see how we feel."

He smiled and nodded his head.

I peeled through my wardrobe to find something nice to wear. My fingers combed through some of Dan's clothing and some of mine.
I went with a maroon button down and black pants.
Dan stood next to me and looked for something as well.
I threw on my clothes with no time to spare and sat on the bed.
I hated waiting to get ready. Whenever I did something I made sure I did it within little time.
Dan on the other hand liked to take his sweet old time. I sat on the bed for a solid thirty minutes; he went back and forth to the bathroom with just his shirt on.
He would occasionally burn himself with the flat iron.
He was a hot mess, poor boy has no grace.

"It's time to leave!" I called from the lounge.

"Okay hang on."
The cab was outside and we both walked out front.

"Are all the lights off?" I asked Dan.

"Yes."

We made our way down to the taxi and told the driver where we needed to go.
The ride was quiet mostly and I was trying to be on my best behavior.
Dan looked so good..
