Phil's POV

As Dan finished up, my dad walked over with the bill, a smile on his face.

"Son! It's so good to see you," he said as I stood up and hugged him. "Who's this?"

"This is Dan Howell, an employee of mine," I said. With our arms still linked, he laid his head on my shoulder.

"It's nice to meet you, Dan," he said, leaving my side and extending his hand to him. "Just an employee, eh?" he whispered in my ear. I coughed to cover it up.

"Father, could you get a box for my friend here?" He nodded and scuttled off with my card, returning minutes later. Dan piled his leftovers into the box and stood up. "Thanks, dad. See you soon." I grabbed the card from his hand and gave him a hug.

As Dan and I walked out I grabbed a bag and took his food out of his hands, placing it in the bag swiftly. "Here," I said, handing back to him. Our hands touched and he quickly pulled them away. "So, did you have anything important that you needed to do today? It's already 1:30, I don't see the need to go back."

"You're a hypocrite," he chuckled. I laughed along as I called a taxi.
