I carried Luce upstairs. Ignoring Loke's whining calls. "Loke get out of my house!" I yelled down the stairs.
"Why should I? I mean, I'm your friend right?" he asked, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose with his middle and index fingers.
"That doesn't matter!" I hissed down the stairs, Lucy winced and I set her down gently in her room. "You aren't feeling well, stay here." Luce nodded and leaned against the door frame. I sighed and walked down the stairs.
"Natsu, how can you be so rude; and in front of a girl too? Shame on you!"
"Get out."
"Tch! We'll see, the princess is very important to me. I won't let someone like you ruin that," Loke muttered, adjusting his glasses for like the thirtieth time. I knew he wasn't joking, but we both know that this won't turn into a fight. More like a test of luck, love, and fate. But, it isn't exactly what I need at the moment. Loke turned and walked out of the house.
"What happened?" Luce asked, coming down the stairs. "I heard just about everything."
"Aha," I said, flashing her a grin and rubbing the back of my head with my palm. "Sorry about that, you know just some simple minded argument."
"I see. Also, Loke needs to stop calling me Princess," she said quietly, followed by a soft laugh.
"Wait, didn't I tell you to stay upstairs? You aren't feeling well!"

I looked up at him. His face seemed a mix of gentle and stubborn. "I-I don't exactly know. I knew you guys were talking about me, but like... I needed to know what you were saying," I explained softly. I attempted to keep my voice defiant and strong. But instead it faded into a hushed shaky whisper.
"I see," Natsu said. I looked at the ground and swayed my long hoodie sleeves. His hand extended and patted the top of my head. I blinked everytime his hand made contact with my head. "Are you mad?" I asked quite surprised by his sudden reaction, and how he didn't seem too pissed.
"Of course not!" he said, picking me up again and slinging me over his shoulder. "If someone where talking about me I would want to know what was going on. "
"Why do you like picking me up like this?"
"Because you get hurt so often that I've gotten used to carrying you," he explained simply. I sighed and poked his abdominal area softly, due to the way I was facing. He looked at me awkwardly. "You okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine, just sleepy." Natsu nodded and went up to my room and put me on my bed while pulling the blanket over me.
"Get some rest."

School ended and I exited the school building with Gajeel next to me. His arm slung around my small shoulders. "Who ya' textin'?" he asked.
"Natsu, I'm making sure Lu-chan is alright. I heard she went home sick."
"Wanna stop by? We can see if she's up," Gajeel said gruffly. I looked up at him and nodded smiling.
"That would be nice, thank you."

Once we arrived at Natsu's I knocked on the door and Natsu opened it and held his finger up to his mouth and allowed us in.
"Luce's up stairs; I believe she's sleeping."
"How long has she been sleeping?"
"About an hour," Natsu explained, we sat in the den talking.
"I don't understand, so Markov told you both that people are after Lu-chan?" I asked.
"Yes," Natsu said quietly, staring at the floor. "Which is why I'm guarding her with my life."
"Thank you," whispered a small voice. Lucy stood behind me, shaking. Her face was pale and her countenance scared me. "Thank you for worrying about me."
"Lu-chan, are you okay?"
She looked up and smiled, her eyes bright. "Mhm, no need to be worried."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." Natsu, Gajeel and I exchanged hasty glances.
"A-Alright," I said. "I wanted to see if you wanted to come to my house tomorrow? If you're alright by then. The boys are coming as well as all the other girls."
Lucy smiled wide and nodded. "Yeah, I'm sure I'll be fine. Just some headaches that's all."

The day passed pretty quickly, after Lucy went to her room again, complaining about another headache Gajeel and I left.
"She's probably still getting used to getting the magic," I whispered when I arrived home. I walked into my room and flopped down on my bed.
