Chapter 35 ~ Birthday (Part 1)

Ah, all my pretties will  be in one place again today!! I got dressed and skipped out the door, and literally walked the two steps I needed to, to get to Levy's house. I gently knocked on the door and I saw glimpse of her messy blue mane from behind the door window.

"Hey, Levy!" I chirped, as she pulled me in.

"Hi," she responded quickly.

"Something wrong?"

"No, I'm waiting to see if Natsu and Lucy are coming as a couple," the petite girl said with a smile.

"Oh my gosh!" I yelped, jumping up and down. "Are they a thing??"

"Not that I know of," Levy answered with a small frown. "But I bet you have a plan."

"Of course I do!" I said with a wink. "This is Mirajane Strauss you're talking to!" Levy and I giggled and went to go set everything up. I grabbed the snacks and gently placed them on the table, in colorful bowls.

About an hour later, I heard couple of rings on the door bell. I skipped to the white painted door and turned the knob. I smiled and looked up, but my heart skipped a beat. It was the boys. All of them except Natsu. Laxus, Gray Gajeel, and Jellal. "Kon'nichiwa," I said softly, to let them in. They nodded and stepped in.

"Where's Shrimp?" Gajeel asked, hanging his coat.

"Ah! Let me go get her!" I said with a smile and turned to the kitchen to grab Levy. About a minute later I came back with Levy. The blue haired shorty walked up to Gajeel and gave him a cute hug.

"Hai!" she greeted warmly towards the boys.

"Natsu, Lucy, Juvia and Erza should be here soon," I said with a small sigh. I patted Levy's head and walked back to the kitchen. "You guys need to help us set up!" All of them groaned. I smirked and continued to set up the snacks.

Natsu and I left for Levy's little get-together after I felt ready to go. Honestly, I put literally no effort in my outfit, but I still did. I looked hella cute. A pink sweater that was HUGE on me, black leggings, a long amethyst necklace, white Converse hightops, and my hair up in a long ponytail. Simple but cute.

We walked the small distance to Levy's house and noticed Erza approaching the door as well. I smiled and ran to catch up to her. "Hey, Erza!" I called, waving.

"Oh! Hi Lucy," she greeted me with a smile. Natsu casually jogging up to us.

"Ah Hi, Erza," Natsu said with a smile. He ran his hand through his pink hair as we walked up to the door and knocked on it gently.

"Lu-chan, just walk in!" Levy called. I furrowed my eyebrows and shrugged, opening the door slowly.

"SURPRISE!" Shouted a group of people, and the two people behind me.

"Ah! Nani?" I asked, bewildered.

"Lucy, did you forget?" Levy asked. I looked at her and smiled.

"Of course not! Who do you think I am?" Levy grinned and pulled me in. It was my birthday, the day I turned seventeen.

"Happy birthday, Luce!" Natsu yelled, picking me up.

"Wah! Natsu!" I screeched.  I balled my hands into fists and pounded on his back. He smiled and carried me towards the group of out friends in the living room. Natsu sat down and put me on his lap.

"Lu-chan, are you feeling better?" Levy asked, sitting next to Gajeel. Erza and Mira were sitting next to each other on the floor. Mira next to Laxus's leg and Erza next to Jellal's.

"Much, thank you!" I responded with a smile.

"So, what happened, Princess?" Asked a husky voice.

"What is this bastard doing here?" I heard Natsu murmured. I smiled and pecked his cheek before getting up and walking over to Loke.

"Hello!" I said with a smile.

"Hey princess," he answered, giving me a hug.

"Oh! That's right! I forgot to tell you guys. I invited Loke," Levy said softly. Poking her own cheek. I turned my head towards the door and noticed Juvia slowly creeped in and sat next to Gray. Loke patted my head and pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose. I smiled and walked back over to Natsu and sat on the arm of the chair next to him. Natsu smiled and scooped me off the arm of the chair and down on his lap. His muscular arms slipped around my waist. I blushed and allowed him.

"How cute!" Juvia cooed, looking at us. I laughed softly.

"What do you guys want to do?" Erza asked.

"Oh! I already have that planned!" Levy said, jumping up and walking over to her huge TV. I just about realized that almost everyone in this neighborhood is rich. She took out 28 Days Later, a zombie horror film and I frowned.

"This is what we're watching on my birthday? A horror film!?" I asked, purely out of shock.

"Deal with it, Lu-chan!" Levy said with a wink, immediately I wanted to run out of that house. They wanted their 'ships' to become a reality. They were highly concerning. They also came up with ridiculous names. NaLu, GrUvia, etcetera. I studied her visage while the room underwent a silence so thick it was almost tangible. I casted glances at everyone and their countenance scared me. All of them looked rest assured and at ease with what's happening. Meanwhile I seem totally scared! How!? I don't understand, are they okay with this? Oh well. I relaxed and cuddled up next to Natsu, when I heard him say words I'd never thought I'd hear.

"That bastard better not think about touching you," he whispered into my ear. My face heated up and I looked at him, quite concerned.

"Ah, protective are we?" Loke asked, leaning towards Natsu. Natsu glared at him and tightened his grip around me. I turned and I had my face in the direction of his neck. I pressed my face into his shoulder at the sound of a large crack. A soft squeak escaped all the girls as the pressed closer to their partners. Loke ran his hand in a circle around my back to sooth me. To be completely honest it was soothing, but being by Natsu's side helped a lot more.

As timed passed we watched four more movies.

Hey guys... Sorry, this chapter would've been way longer, but I have been going through a ton of stuff, and I'm just broken right now... I might take a little hiatus... For a week or so, to regain myself and glue myself back together. I really need the support, and I know you guys don't care... But I need it, badly.
