Chapter 12 ~ New lessons.

Natsu's POV

Lucy and I walked to our first period class, and sat down towards the middle of the room. Lucy stared out the window, and I watched her, exchanging glances from Loke as we both watched Lucy.

"Have a good day." Professor Guildharts said, waving his hand to dismiss us. We all got up to leave, and Lucy looked at me, I couldn't quite understand what was reflected in her eyes, I held out my hand for her to lead her to our next class. She gladly took it and left the class with me.

Professor Mavis said we could have a free period, so Lucy and I ran up to the Library.

"Hey," I whispered. "You okay?" I asked.

Lucy looked up from the book she was reading, and smiled at me. "Yeah, fine." She stated, flicking her hand in dismissal.

We stared at each other, she looked so concentrated, and we both knew; this had become a staring contest.

"I'm fine, Natsu." She said finally. I nodded, stepping back and blinking for a second. "But, I won." She muttered.

"Wait! You saw that!?" I asked, looking at her wide-eyed.

"Well, of course." She sighed, "I had to focus on something!" Lucy sighed.

"Fine, fine. You win." I sighed, putting my arms up in surrender. "But, you need to tell me what's wrong. I know something's up."

Lucy snapped her head up, blonde hair getting into her face. She quickly pushed it away and blinked. "Fine. I'm just scared, what if we sound horrible for our first concert?" She asked, shaking her head. "It would be my fault,"

I lifted her face up to mine, I stared into her eyes and smiled. "Well, why don't we show you was we usually do, and then we can try and come up with ideas. The concert is like three months away, I think we'll be fine." Lucy nodded, smiling. I left go of her face and flashed a toothy grin. "Everything is going I be fine, especially the band," I whispered.

"Hai, arigato. Natsu," she murmured, hugging me. I hesitantly hugged her back, eventually we both pulled away, she grabbed her books and started walking to our band room. She usually eats lunch up there by herself. So, I thought about getting the band up there for a meeting.

At least she can learn what we do now! I thought quietly.

When everyone was in the band room. We discussed some things. Pros and cons of the band. Lucy -of course- had a notebook titled Glitter (which was the name of our band.., but I believe you knew that.) and wrote down notes.
