Chapter 37 - Happy Birthday (Part 3)

Drip, Drip, Drop.

Juvia watched Natsu lead Lucy down the stairs from my hiding spot. I was so happy for them! They were so happy just to be near each other. Gray was next to me. I watched them and as soon as Lucy entered we all sprang up and shouted, "Surprise!" Lucy looked around with a red face, her eyes filled with happiness.

"You guys.." She said softly, Natsu picked her up and hugged her. Soon enough all of us managed to come out of our hiding places and join the hug. I felt so happy for Lucy. We all went into the living room to play some more games. Of course I sat next to Gray-sama. Mira-san pretty much didn't have to do anything. Everyone knew where they were sitting. She grinned and sat on the floor by Laxus's legs.

"Lucy!" I called. "Open Juvia's!" Lucy nodded as I tossed a small box to her. She smiled and opened it, looking inside she let out a small squeak.

"You didn't!" She yelped.

"Juvia did," I responded. Lucy took out a leather pocket thing that would carry her keys. I found one and had the Fairy Tail logo pressed into the brown leather. Lucy smiled widely.

"Thank you, Juvia!"

"No problem."

"Heads up, Lu-chan!" Levy sang as a medium sized box was headed Lucy's way.
Lucy caught it and opened it, smiling at what she pulled out. It was apparently a book Lucy has been wanting forever.

"Arigato, Levy-chan!"

"You're welcome!" Natsu turned and handed Lucy a rectangular box when she was done putting the two boxes neatly on top of each other. Levy snorted and looked at Lucy. "Perfectionist much?"

"Shut up!" Lucy retorted, sticking her tongue out. She smiled and opened the black box Natsu handed her and gasped when she pulled out a silver locket. "Natsu!" She popped the clasp open and saw a picture inside.

"It's a picture of all of us together," Natsu informed us promptly. We all nodded while he put it on Lucy, who was blushing.

"I love it, thank you, Natsu."

"You're welcome Luce." We all looked at him and a chorus of aw's rang out among the girls. Lucy just blushed harder.

I smiled and Levy took Gajeel's from him and threw it towards Lucy. She grinned and took it, "thanks, Levy-chan!"

"Yup!" The shorty responded. Lucy opened the gift and inside was the most beautiful black glittery dress.

"Whoa, Gajeel," Lucy gasped. Even Levy cupped her mouth with her hands. She helped him find the gift!

"Gihe, Shrimp helped me pick it out." Lucy folded the dress nicely and put it back in the box. Natsu leaned forward and whispered something in her ear that made her blush heavily. Mira and Levy squealed while I sat there hugging Gray-sama's arm. Gray-sama turned and looked at me funny but I didn't mind.

Lucy finished opening her gifts. She got a new fluffy blanket from me, beautiful flats from Mira, and a new phone case from Gray-sama. Ants picked Lucy up and took all her stuff into her room. Mira, Levy and I cooed.

Natsu told me to dress nice, because we were going somewhere with the whole group. I decided, why not wear what Gajeel got me and the flats that Mira got me as well. I slipped the dress on as well as the silver flats. The dress was slimming and it showed off my curves. I admired myself in the mirror and wondered what to do with my hair. Levy had brought all my stuff over. I took my hair down and stared at it. I walked to the door and called out, "Levy-chan!" The blunette rushed to my door, looked both ways to see if anyone was coming and shoved me inside slamming the door and leaning her back against it.

"Your hair," she said promptly. She grabbed my hair bag and rushed me into a seat in front of the mirror. She grinned and pulled the side of my hair into a braid and continued with that. A moment later she stepped back, examining what she had done. "Almost finished," she informed me. I nodded slowly and stared into the mirror. She grabbed my curling iron and started to curl my hair that wasn't in a braid. "Done!" Levy said with a grin. I looked in the mirror; astonished at what I saw. She had given me beach waves, with a water fall braid along the right side of my head. I stood up and examined myself.

"How do I look?" I asked.

"Stunning!" Levy said, with a bright smile.

"Now to help you!" I said with a smirk. "Get your stuff and bring it in here." She nodded and ran to grab her things. She came back a minuet later with her makeup bag, clothes, and her hair stuff. She dropped a couple dressed on her bed. I looked at one of them and grabbed her pair of black thigh highs and a pair of black ankle boots and handed them to her. She smiled and went to change. She came back wearing a flowing pink dress, the skirt going down to her mid-thigh. It had a black lace forming a sweetheart neckline. The sleeves were bunched and puffy, with a black ribbon around the ends. The sleeves weren't long at all. Her thigh highs weren't fancy. They were black with the shape of a cat's head along her upper part of her leg. She grinned and slipped the boots on.

"How do I look?" Levy asked.

"Like a million bucks," I answered with a smile. Her hair was messy, but really cute. I took a pink head band of hers and put it on her. She grinned and fluffed out her hair.

"You don't need make up," I said.

"Well, neither do you," she retorted. "Plus, Gajeel would kill me if I wore makeup.."

"Awe. That's cute, Natsu would be disappointed in me to be honest," I said softly, applying some mascara. "But who says I can't make my eyes look even more amazing?" I tossed the tube to Levy after I applied it. She grinned and caught it swiftly. She opened it and started to apply it as well.

"Hey, our eyes are what they get lost in."

"True that!" I giggled and we walked out down stairs. Every eye on us. I saw Natsu and smiled, Levy linked her arm with mine and we walked to our dates. Natsu couldn't take his eyes off me, and Gajeel was like glued to Levy. We giggled and I kissed Natsu's cheek. "You look handsome," I whispered in his ear. He blushed and grinned.

"But you look way better." He was wearing a black jacket (a nice one) over a white button up shirt and jeans, with some nice shoes. His hair as messy as ever. He was so cute. We grinned at each other.

"Let's go!" I said, everyone smiled and nodded as we left Levy's house.

I had surgery done and I've been out for recovery. I promise my updates will be more structured. <3
