I couldn't help but glance in my mirror frequently, to check on Lu. It hurt to see her this upset, but I had to be strong for her.
Before we switched seats I grabbed my phone and headphones and just put one in to relax. I played Rimani, a classical piece - consisting of cello, a bit of violin, and piano. We switched seats and I still had my headphone in and started drive. I stared at the dimly lit road, the only light source from my headlights. I looked over at Gajeel and he held my hand. I'm proud of all of us. We handled a situation very well and we left before anyone got hurt. I sighed and stared at the road ahead of me. The sides of the road remind me of my trip to Canada. We rented a cottage in Mark Dale, Ontario and when we left the highways, and out of Hamilton, it was all just dark. I pushed memories out of my head and kept driving.
"Everyone alright?" I looked in my mirror at Jellal and Natsu.
"Yeah, just hungry," Lu-chan murmured.
"I put some food in my backpack next to your seat, Lu-chan, help yourself." She nodded and got up slowly and closed her eyes.
She soon opened them and dug through my bag and found a muffin that I had saved specially for her. "May I have this?"
"Of course," I answered, glancing at her though the mirror. "That was supposed to be your birthday breakfast or whatever this morning." My eyes returned to the empty road with just us. It split into a two lane and Miraxus' jeep pulled next to ours and we nodded to each other slowly, Mira passing a wave as Laxus kept his eyes on the road.
I turned and looked at the road and hummed a tune, I glanced at Lucy and she smirked. She unplugged her headphones and set up an AUX cord and blasted some Halsey on the stereo. I gazed at her and then glanced at Natsu. Our eyes said 'has she ever been like this?' I smiled and put down all the windows and let our music blast into the empty night. She's happy now, and I couldn't be less worried about her still. I sang along and Gajeel raised his eyebrows as profanities exited my mouth. I shrugged and kept going, with Lu-chan.
I couldn't stop singing all night as well all fun. You can ever trust us six. We go insane! Lucy smiled and laid her head on Natsu's lap and sang, his eyes flashing between her and I when profanities (swears) left our mouths.
I grinned as we pulled over to let Gajeel drive, and Jellal hopped up front, while I went in the back with Erza.
I bet if we went out in public that people would think we're clearly insane. I curled up and laid my head on Erza's lap. "Guys?" I asked, the music turned off and all eyes were on me.
"Yeah, what's up?" Natsu asked cautiously. I took in a breath and started to speak.
"Well, what do you think will happen, like how will our lives change?" This got everyone thinking, while they were in deep thought, of course- naturally I thought about it too. How would our lives be different, we ran away so that none of us would be in any harms way. It's scary, but surprisingly enough- Lucy spoke up first.
"Well, Levy-chan," she murmured, loud enough for us all to hear. "It will be different not to go to school everyday, and not study magic. But, it won't be much different except not being able to study, and perform in the band."
"I agree, except that it's difficult to just pack up and leave school, and our other friends..." He said, cuddling Lucy at the same time. I grinned at them and looked at Gajeel, he glanced at me in his mirror and flashing a smirk at me.
"It's okay, Shrimp," he said. "We're from Fairy Tail after all, and we should able to handle ourselves out there." He made me smile and I closed my eyes.
"Lu-chan, sing for us, please?" I murmured. She smiled and started a soft song.
"Black bird singin' in the dead of night. Take these broken wings and learn to fly, all your life. You were always waiting for this moment to arrive," she sang, and the car went silent, her voice echoing against the white noise that replayed in my head. "Black bird fly, black bird fly. Black bird singing in the dead of night. Take the sunken eyes and learn to see." Soon enough my eyes were heavy and I drifted off into a sleep.

I watched them sleep and I rested my head on Natsu, and tried to match my breathing to his shallow inhales. Soon, I felt sleep take over me, and I fell asleep, right there. My head on Natsu's chest, his arms wrapped around my waist. Gajeel and Jellal looked back before I fell asleep and they grinned.
I'm so so soon sorry that I didn't update this. It's been hectic lately, and I had severe writer's block, sorry this is a filler-chapter too. Can someone give me some inspiration!?! Also, I make Original stories on a side account NiaElona, if you guys could give me a follow, or check it out, that'd be amazing!! <3 ~ Nia
