Natsu's POV

"I know Luce, it's okay." I whispered, running my hand in circles on her back trying to sooth her.

"Here we are." I announced, looking out the window. Lucy smiled and sat up straighter.

"I can't wait." She whispered, bouncing in her seat.

"Calm down..." I muttered, laughing. She didn't stop bouncing but she nodded. The car slowed to a stop and we both climbed out of the car.

"Lu-chan!" Levy called running over. She hugged Lucy, and linked arms with her. She smiled and dragged her away, talking to her about new books.

"Lucy getting dragged from you, eh?" Loke asked, standing next to me.

"Shut up." I muttered, crossing  my arms.

"Sheesh." Loke sighed in defense. "Calm down."

"Band practice after school, don't forget." I called, walking away. I walked away towards my first period class. Luce was leaning against the wall, writing things in her note book.

"Anything that is beautiful: people want to break, and you are beautiful, I'm afraid. And anything that is beautiful, people want to break, and you are beautiful I'm afraid." She sang softly.

"I love hearing your voice Lu-chan!" Levy gasped, clapping gently. Luce blushed and smiled.

"Thanks."

"I do too." I said as I leaned against the wall next to her. "That's why she's lead singer."

Third POV

Lisanna stood in the corner of the classroom, her face twisted in a sickening grimace. "Hmm. Poor Lucy." She laughed, as she sat down in her seat.

Lucy, Levy, and Natsu all sat down in their little row, Lisanna in the back. She smiled at Natsu. But stopped when she saw him talking and messing around with Lucy.

Lucy's POV

Natsu and I really didn't pay attention in class. We both sat there writing song lyrics in my notebook. It was fun to be back in that atmosphere!

The bell rang to dismiss us.

"Have a good day," Professor Mavis stated casually as Natsu and I left. "Be ready for the test coming up, Lucy."

"Thank you," I called over my shoulder. "I'll be ready!" Natsu and I exchanged glances. We finally got out of the classroom and I looked at him. "I'm going to fail that test." I whispered.

"Probably." Natsu muttered, mindlessly.

"Shut up!" I wailed, poking him harshly in the arm. "Baka."

We headed towards the cafeteria. Gajeel stood in the corner, Levy standing next to next to him. Explaining something to him. He, of course, stood there looking really bored. I rolled my eyes and kept walking.

"Are you okay?" Natsu asked, not looking at me, but giving me a slight squeeze on my hand.

"Yeah! I'm fine!" I answered simply. "No need to get all worried!"

"Okay..." he said hesitantly, "What ever you say!"

I smiled and took my phone out of my pocket. I put my headphones in and sat against the wall out in the hallway, refusing to eat. I listened to my music and sang along, writing lyrics that I loved in my notebook.

Memories flooded into my mind. I used to be a violin player, I was really good. But I quit because novelty and singing caught my attention, and I wanted to focus on those two head-on. I sighed and slammed my book closed. Mom would always play with me, I thought. Another reason I quit the violin, is because it hurt too much. It scared me; a lot.

I shoved my face into my knees and I felt tears fall down my face.
