"I'm not moving into your house." I started walking to Blake's front door.

"I'd much rather you stay here where I know you'll be safe than a sketchy hotel." Blake followed.

"Then I'll stay in a nice hotel." I turned to face him.

"I'll even help you bring your stuff here."

I rolled my eyes. "You just moved in here yourself. I can't impose."

"You're not imposing. It's an invitation." He smiled.

"Are you being serious? I have two kids I'd have to bring too."

"Of course I'm being serious. When do you wanna get your stuff?"

I shrugged. "Either when Rocky's not home or at night when he's sleeping. Hopefully he'll be asleep and not trying to wait for me. Of course after what happened today I wouldn't imagine him waiting for me to get home."

He smiled. "I guess you're moving in."

It was almost eight at night. Blake and I were on our way to get my stuff.

"Are you sure about this?" I asked as he pulled along the curb.

"I'm sure that this is the best thing right now. If that's how Rocky's gonna treat you, you need to leave. That's not how you should be treated." He shut off the car.

I nodded slowly. "How am I just suppose to take the twins without anyone noticing?"

He looked at the house. "It looks like the only lights that are on are bedrooms. As long as they stay in them, there shouldn't be a problem." He climbed out of the truck and came to my side. "I'll wait at the front door and you can bring stuff down. I'll put it in the car so you can keep going. That way, if you're caught I won't be with you. It won't be as bad."

"What do I say if I'm caught?"

"Make something up."

I slowly climbed out of the car and walked to the front door. Surprisingly, it was unlocked.

"You'll be right here?" I turned back to him.

"I won't move."

The house was dark. All the lights were off. I tiptoed up the stairs and to my room. Someone had put the twins to sleep already in their cribs. I put the twins in their car seats and carried them down to the front door. Blake took them as I went back for their beds.

I had brought out both car seats, both beds, bags for both of the twins, majority of their stuff, and a few of my own bags before any trouble occurred.

I was in my room, collecting the rest of my stuff, when I heard someone in the hallway. My door opened and I was standing there with a bag over my shoulder and my purse on my arm.

"Where are you going?" Rydel asked.

"I'm staying at a hotel for a few nights." I lied.

"Why?" She moved closer. "Where are the twins?"

"Rocky doesn't want to see me right now. I figured it would be best. I don't even think I could face him right now if I tried."

"Doesn't mean you have to leave. Where are the babies?"

"They're in the car. Please, Rydel. Don't say anything. I need this."

She nodded slowly. "You better text me everyday so I at least know you're ok."

I smiled. "I will. I promise you I won't be doing anything bad. I just can't be around Rocky right now. Not after what he did."

I gave her a hug, then went down to where Blake was waiting for me.
