Do It Again

Chapter 11

(Ashley's point of view)

I quickly made my way back to Blake's apartment door and knocked.

"I gotta get you a key made." Blake laughed, letting me in.

I smiled and brushed past him. "I guess that depends how long I'll be here."

He smirked. "Even then I might just give you a key to come back."

I blushed. We shouldn't be doing this.

"So what took you so long?" He leaned against the kitchen counter.

"There was a long check out line." I felt him watching me as I put away the baby food I bought.

"You were gone for almost forty minutes. That must have been some line." He didn't buy it.

I sighed. "I was talking to Rocky."

He froze. "What did Rocky have to say?"

"He was just apologizing. I told him I had to get back."

"He apologized for half an hour?"

"It's getting late." I changed the subject. "I'm gonna go get the twins."

He stopped me. "I'll get them. You can stay here and shower or make them something to eat or clean up what you had out this morning."

I knew what he was taking about. My cheeks burned. "Just don't take long."

"I'll be back as soon as I can."

(Blake's point of view)

Was Ashley getting back together with Rocky? I know I wasn't suppose to be trying to get with her, but I liked her. I would never push her though. She needed me more than anyone wants to admit. I can't leave her.

I got to the Lynch house in no time. Hopefully, Riker would be the only one who came to the door again. I rang the doorbell and to my surprise Rydel stood there smiling.

"Hey." I smiled back. "I came to get Rose and Rory."

"Come in!" She stepped out of the way. "I'll see who has them."

I stepped into the doorway and she led me to the living room.

"Did anyone know you were coming?" She asked.

"No. I don't think so. I just told Riker I'd be back for them later."

"Alright, then I'll go check with Riker."

I watched her blonde hair bounce out of the room and up the stairs. I let out a deep breath. What would I do if Rocky saw me here? He would never let me leave alive. I couldn't have sent Ashley. She either wouldn't have made it back or she would have talked to Rocky more.

"Blake?" Ross asked, walking into the living room. He was holding Rory.

"Hey, Ross." I awkwardly shoved my hands into my pockets.

"Are you here for the twins?" He watched me closely.

"Yeah. Ashley was tired so I told her I would get them." I lied.

"Well, here's Rory. I'll get his car seat. I think Rocky has Rose."

Oh no. Would Rocky bring her down or Rydel? Maybe Riker took her again. Anything would be better than Rocky.

Ross had left to get Rory's stuff when I heard someone coming down the stairs. It was Rocky.

"Why didn't Ashley come for them?" He stopped when he saw me.
