"Ano? Okay lang ako ano ba."

"Parang hindi naman eh."

"RJ, huwag kang makulit. Okay lang sabi ako."

"Talaga lang ha."

       RJ & Maine are currently talking on Facetime. It's been two weeks since the last time they saw each other because of RJ's series of concerts & photo shoots abroad. Maine might not admit it, but she really misses RJ badly. Ayaw niya lang ipakita kay RJ because she knows aasarin siya nito...like what he's doing right now.

"Hindi mo man lang ba ako nami-miss?" RJ asked, doing his best puppy dog face.

"RJ, stop it. Gusto mo lang akong ngumawa dito. Just stop." Maine countered.

"Hoy, hindi ah! Grabe ka! Gusto ko lang naman marinig na my girlfriend misses me. Masama ba?"

"Nako RJ! I know you."

"Hahahahahahaha! Oh, huwag kang mapipikon."

"Whatever!" Maine rolled her eyes but he just laughed. "Kwentuhan mo na lang ako Ricardo ng mga pinag-gagagawa mo dyan."

"Eto na nga po Madam. Wala naman kami masyadong pinuntahan. Lakad dito, lakad doon. Ganon lang."

"Napakaganda ng kwento mo RJ. Can you at least tell everything in detail? Corny mo ha."

"You already know where I went to and what I did there. May update ka kaya galing sa akin every minute."

"OA sa every minute. Eeehhh. I want you tell me again. I like the way you tell stories. Masyado kang animated magkwento."

RJ raised his eyebrow. "Wooooh! Nagpapalusot ka lang eh. May gusto ko lang talagang sabihin eh."

"Hay nako! Eto na naman tayo. Good night na nga!"

"Oh oh oh! Joke lang! Joke lang! Ang bilis naman magtampo ng baby ko." Maine, once again, rolled her eyes.

"Sige na, di na. How did my baby's day went?"

"Ayun. Just another day. Eat Bulaga, photo shoot then another photo shoot. Same old, same old."

"I heard may nagpadala daw sa'yo ng flowers. Carnations pa daw."

"Gosh RJ! You're such a stalker! Hahahaha. It was from one of my new endorsements."

"Oh! Ba't defensive? Wala naman akong sinabi ah. Alam ko naman na galing sa endorsement mo yun. Jecker told me."

"Hay nako! WAIT. Kailan ka pa ina-update ni Jecker?" RJ's eyes widened when he realized his mistake.

"Ahhh....Uhm....From time to time? Hehe." He tried to use his puppy dog face again but Maine just looked at him with her eyebrow raised.

"Talaga lang ha? Sure ka?" She looked at him with an amused expression.

"Okay, fine. All the time. Masama ba? Minsan po kasi eh hindi ka nakakasagot sa mga texts at tawag ko kaya I contact Jecker just to make sure that you're okay. Okay na po ba, Madam?" Maine's face broke into a wide smile.

"Cheeseballs. Sorry if sometimes I don't get to answer your calls and texts. Medyo hectic lang talaga ang schedule."

"Sa sobrang hectic, wala ka nang time para ma-miss ako samantala ako dito, miss na miss ka na." RJ mumbled to himself.

"Are you saying something?"

"Wala. Wala naman."

"Parang may sinabi ka eh."

"Wala. Wala talaga."

There was silence. They just looked at each other on their phone screens, taking each other in.

"I miss you." RJ lovingly said, breaking the silence. Looking at his sad eyes, Maine felt a lump in her throat. She misses him too. Oh how she misses him. But she wants to maintain the "strong" front, because she knows if RJ sees how sad she is, he'll do everything to finish his work as soon as possible and that, she doesn't want to happen. But she couldn't take it anymore. Nag-unahan na ang mga luha niya na pilit niyang pinipigilan. Seeing this, RJ suddenly panicked.

"Hey, love. What's wrong? I'm sorry. May nasabi ba ako?" Maine wiped her tears but it just won't stop.

"No, nothing. I just missed you, too." There. She finally said it. From panic, RJ's face changed into a soft expression.

"Hindi ako sanay na wala ka dito. Wala akong kasama for my morning coffee. I don't have someone to share my Monthly Kit with, thank you for sending them by the way kahit nasa malayo ka. Wala akong kasama kumain ng laksa & ramen when I craved for it. 'Di kumpleto ang araw ko 'pag di kita kasama. I guess, I just miss you...so much, love."

"I miss you more. 'Di mo alam kung paano ko gustong hilahin ang araw para matapos na ang trabaho ko dito. 'Di rin kumpleto ang araw ko pag hindi ko nakikita yang ngiti mo. Kapag hindi kita nayayakap ng mahigpit. Kapag hindi kita naki-kiss...-"

"RICHARD!!!"

"Sa forehead! Eto naman 'di pa nga ako tapos eh. Hahaha. Hindi kumpleto ang araw ko kasi nasa Pilipinas yung kalahati ng puso ko."

"Eww. Cornicks na. Ayawan na."

"Gusto mo naman. Tahan na. Huwag ka nang umiyak. Ako nahihirapan niyan eh."

"Sorry. Ikaw kasi!"

"Paano naging ako? Sinabi ko lang naman na na-miss kita."

"Whatever."

"Pikon! Hahahahaha" Maine just looked at him. After RJ's laughter died down, he turned serious and looked back at her.

"Just three more days, baby. Just three more days, and I'm back in your loving arms." RJ said, spreading his arms as if to hug her.

"Ewan ko sa'yo Richard. Nanghihiram ka pa ng words kay Ed Sheeran."

"Love mo naman ako."

"Para kang bata. Hey, it's already 2AM. I need to get some shuteye before my call time at 7:00. Good night na. At please yung mga bilin ko sa'yo okay? Huwag kalimutan."

"Yes po Madam! Kumain on time, take vitamins, get some sleep whenever I can, etc. etc. Got it! Para naman akong baby."

"You're my baby." Maine said, smirking.

"Ew! Cornicks!" RJ said in a high-pitched voice, trying to imitate Maine.

"That's so far from how I actually sound. Ang OA mo."

"Love mo pa rin."

"K. Fine. Good luck on your shows and do well on your shoots! Good night. I love you, Shokoy!"

"I love you, too Baby! Take care alright? Good night!"

While she just ended her day, he's starting his...and both are happy and IN LOVE. ❤️
