Maine arrives home and she finds it unusually quiet.

"Wala pa ba si RJ?" She thought. She rummages through her bag to get her phone. Before she could dial the number she knows by heart, she heard soft giggles coming from Thirdy's room.

"Papa! Wrong po ako! Hindi 'a' po nasulat ko, 'e'." She heard him laughingly tell his father as she nears his room.

"It's okay, anak. Papa will teach you. Come let me guide your hand." She peeped from the slightly opened door and saw how RJ patiently guided Thirdy's hand through the paper to write the letter 'a'.

"Try it again anak, on your own na ha."

"Okay po Papa." She smiled as Thirdy concentrated on writing while his dad looked on. She was standing there for quite awhile when Thirdy noticed her presence.

"Mamaaaa!!!!" Thirdy got up from his seat and welcomed her with a sloppy kiss on the cheek. RJ smiled at her and got up as well.

"Hello, Mama." RJ kissed her on the forehead and put his arm around her shoulders as they looked at Thirdy concentrating on writing again.

"Hi. Kumusta ang study session niyo ni Thirdy?" Her question brought sparkle in his eyes.

"His writing improved, Mahal! At first nahihirapan pa siya but I guided him and nakuha niya naman agad. Thirdy's smart like his Mama." He excitedly told her and winked at his last statement.

"Hay nako, Richard! We're already married. Hindi mo na ako kailangang bolahin. And Thirdy's smart because both his parents are." Maine pinched his cheeks like she always does when she finds him cute.

"Hay, nako etong mahal ko. Sige na, oo na. Teka, may nakalimutan ka ata Mama." RJ wiggled his eyebrows earning a pinch on the side from Maine.

"Aray! Eto naman! Kith lang naman eh. Hindi mo pa ako kinith pagdating mo." RJ pouted like a three year old making Maine laugh and gave him a peck on the lips.

"Yun na yun, Mama?"

"Huwag kang abusado. Nandyan ang anak mo oh."

"So 'pag wala na si Thirdy, pwede na?" He smiled suggestively.

"Hay nako ka talaga Faulkerson! Get back on teaching Thirdy while I prepare our dinner."

"Ano dessert, Mama?" He laughed hysterically as his wife almost threw him her shoes.

"Ugh! Nakakainis ka talaga Richard!" Maine stomped her feet and walked out of Thirdy's room.

"I love you, Mama!" RJ shouted from inside.
"I love you, too!" Maine responded, albeit a little angrily. RJ just chuckled.

Maine had finished preparing their dinner and went up to Thirdy's room to call them. She was about to call their attention but she was distracted by how cute the two were that she can't help but take a photo of them.

"Ang galing galing naman ng anak ko." RJ smiled and patted Thirdy's head.

"Thank you for helping me Papa." Thirdy kissed his dad's cheek making RJ smile wider.

"You're welcome, anak. Always welcome."

"Oh, bago ka pa maging emosyonal dyan dinner's ready na po mga señorito. Thirdy anak, please wash your hands na, kakain na tayo."

"Opo, Mama." Thirdy got up and fixed his things before going to the bathroom to wash his hands.

"Mahal, you're about to cry." Maine teased RJ.

"Thirdy's growing up so fast. Parang kahapon lang kinakarga ko pa lang siya at pinapalitan ng diaper. Ngayon, nagsusulat na." RJ's voice cracked. Maine looked at her husband and cupped his face.

"Nako naman 'tong asawa ko napaka-OA talaga. Kung maka-emote ka dyan para namang mag-aasawa na si Thirdy. Hahahaha"

"Hay, nako Nicomaine. Halika na nga, kumain na tayo."

They were lying on their bed, she with her book and him with his phone. RJ was scrolling through his IG feed and saw something that made him chuckle. Maine looked at him confused and he showed her a post.

@mainedcmf Papa teaching Thirdy how to write letters. Don't grow up too fast, anak! You'll forever be Mama's baby! 😢

"Sino nga ulit OA, Mama?" RJ teased and Maine shut him up with a kiss which led to having Charmaine after nine months.
