"Who is Maine Mendoza in Alden Richards' life?"

Maine and Alden are at a press conference for their new movie. They were halfway through the Q&A, when the question was asked catching Alden off guard.

"Wow! Hindi ako na-orient! Hahaha!" He laughed nervously as photographers clicked their cameras away and all eyes were on him, including that of the gorgeous lady beside him, waiting for his answer.

"Uhm paano ko ba sisimulan 'to? Ah, who is Maine Mendoza in Alden Richards' life?" He seemed to think for a while. He looked at Maine and smiled before looking back at the press people.

"To Alden Richards, Maine is the one who changed his life, career-wise. More opportunities came, more people came to know him, more people knew who he is as a person, more people loved him."

"Pa-showbiz naman 'to si Alden."
"Ano ba yan!"
"Yun lang?"

Those were some of the comments he could hear from the press people. But he shrugged them off. He looked at Maine, took her hand, squeezed it and smiled, showing off his dimple.

"But to Richard Faulkerson Jr.? Maine Mendoza is his game changer. She was a blessing to him--she still is. She made him do things he never thought he could do."

"RJ bilis na! Magsa-start na ang party ni Matti."

"Sandali lang Maine, ang hirap maglakad na suot 'to."

"Eh magsisimula na-" Maine stopped walking and turned her back to look at RJ.

"Hahahahahahaha! Ang cute mo RJ! Hahahahaha!"

"Tawa pa Meng." RJ was pouting his lips.

"Hahahaha! O, huwag ka na pabebe diyan. Kailangan na nating magmadali. Nag-text na si Ate Niki."

"Eto na po. Kung di lang kita mahal eh." He whispered the last part for her not to hear.

"Ano na? Mr. Teddy Bear please make it fast." Yes. He was wearing a teddy bear costume for Matti's birthday party. The one her Ate Niki originally asked cancelled at the last minute because of some flu. They were left with no choice but to ask Richard to do it, which he happily obliged.

"Sandali lang Mrs. Teddy Bear." He teased Maine.

"Ew. Corny. Tumahimik ka. Bilis na at naghihintay na ang mga kids."

"Eto na o, effort na maglakad o."

"Matti! Look who Tita Ninang brought!"

"Mr. Teddy Bear!!!!!" Matti ran to him and hugged him. RJ's heart melted seeing how happy Matti is.

RJ entertained everyone who wants to take a photo with him (with Mr. Teddy Bear, actually) and played with the kids all afternoon.

After the kids went home and with Matti sleeping, he took off the suit and wiped his sweat.

"Grabe ang init! Wooh!"

"Thank you nga pala RJ for doing this for Matti. Sobrang happy niya today." Ate Niki thanked RJ.

"Wala pong problema Ate. Basta para kay Matti."

"Weh? Para kay Matti ba talaga? Hahahaha"

"Grabe ka sa akin Ate Niki! Syempre! Love ko si Matti. Mas love ko lang si Tita Ninang. Hahaha"

"Nako Tisoy! O sige na, kailangan kong tignan yung anak ko. Ingat sa pag uwi ha."

"Sige po Ate, thank you." He was already in his white shirt and jeans when he saw Maine walking towards him.

"Hi Mr. Teddy Bear. Ang gwapo mo pa rin."

"Sus. Bolera. Saan ka natuto niyan?"

"Imbes na mag-thank you na lang eh. Hahaha. Speaking of thank you, I wanna thank you for doing this for Matti. Sobrang saya niya today."

"You're welcome. Always welcome." Of course, he smiled his smile that could make girls, Maine included, weak on the knees.

"She made the public see his fun & quirky side-- the side only his family and friends were allowed to see."

"Uy Alden, level up ka na ha! Tawang-tawa ako sa'yo."

"Alden! Hahahahaha. Yung hitsura mo kanina, panalo!"

"Naks! Comedian ka na rin Alden! 'Grats!"

Those were his colleagues' comments regarding his performance in Kalyeserye a while ago.

"See? I told you. You're getting better at this"

"Syempre, I have the best teacher."

"Sus. Bolero."

"Totoo nga. Hahaha. Love you." RJ kissed Maine's hand.

"Sige na. Kunwari naniniwala ako. Love you too."

"She made him ruin his diet. When she cooks or bakes for him, he doesn't have the heart to say "No". I mean, just looking at her adorable face while handing him a piece of cupcake, how could he refuse?"

"Richard! Look! I tried baking these Nutella-filled cookies. Try mo, dali!"

"Richard! Tikman mo 'tong sinigang."

"RJ! Try these lollicakes I made."

"Finally, natutunan ko nang lutuin yung bopis. Come, try it and tell me what you think."

"So I made these chocolate cupcakes, would you like to try it?"

RJ smiled at his recollection. Before he continued, he rubbed her knuckles, and he looked at her lovingly. Maine could only stare back at him and try to to stop the tears that are threatening to fall.

"She made him see that his past heartbreaks were nothing compared to the happiness and contentment he feels right now, with her. She made him realize that love is worth taking the risk."

He put Maine's hand to his lips, and kissed it gently.

"To Richard Faulkerson Jr., Maine Mendoza is his life." He looked at the press people, proudly showing off his girl.

"That's who she is to me."

His answer earned him a lot of oohs and ahhs from the press and a kiss on the cheek from his lady love. ❤️
