Worth It

He was at the airport waiting for his flight back to Manila. He remembers the smile on her face when he surprised her this morning.

"Hi Love! Nami-miss na kita. Sayang wala ka dito."

That pout, so cute he could kiss her right there and then, but that would ruin his surprise.

"The view is breathtaking. Tapos ang ganda ng dagat. Gusto ko na magtampisaw."

"Talaga? Parang di mo naman ako na-miss, excited ka na nga sa dagat eh."

"Ang pangit mo Shokoy. Oo, namimiss kita 'no. Wait, what's that noise? Nasa studio ka na ba?"

"Well......Ano nga ulit yung sabi mo kanina? Sana ano?"

"Sana nandito ka. This would've been a perfect day if you were here."

"Tingin ka sa likod mo." And when she did turn around, the way her face lit up, he can't help but run to her and carry her.

"Oh my God! RJ, you're here!" She squealed in delight.

"Of course. Kahit nasaan ka, pupuntahan kita di ba?" With that, she did what he was dying to do a while ago. She kissed him, sweetly & tenderly. When they broke the kiss, both are radiating with happiness and love for each other.

They spent their whole day together island hopping, jet-skiing and just basking in the Boracay sun. Doing everything they could do with the time they had. They never left each other's side, until it was time for him to go back home.

"Happy ka?" He held her hand and intertwined their fingers.

"Yes. Sobra! Thank you for giving me some of your time. Private plane pa more! Hahaha. I really appreciate it RJ. Sobra. Yung saya ko times 41M kasi I got to do a lot of firsts with you. Thank you. I love you. So much."

"You're welcome. Always welcome. Alam mo naman na gagawin ko ang lahat para sa'yo di ba? Tutuparin ko ang mga wish mo, para sa akin, para sa ating dalawa. Gagawan ko ng paraan lahat, Maine. I love you, too." He then kissed her hand. She just smiled at him and he was called by his handler because it was time.

"Mami-miss kita." She pouted at him.

"Uy! Huwag kang ganyan baka hindi na tayo umuwi. Hahahaha"

"Loko loko! Lagot ka pa rin kay Tatay dahil sa ginawa mo kahapon." His face turned red.

"Hoy, nag explain na ako kina Nanay at Tatay. Huwag ka nga."

"HAHAHAHA! Bakit namumula ka? Joke lang, Love!"

"Wushu, mamimiss mo talaga ako 'no?"

"Pangit mo! Alis na nga, kanina ka pa tinatawag ni Sir Sam."

"Tampo ka na niyan. I love you." That made her smile.

"Oo na. I love you, too. Go na. Baka ma-late ka pa sa flight."

"See you in Manila, tomorrow."

"Yes. See you."

"Facetime?"

"Of course. To make sure na you arrived in Manila safe and sound."

"Okay, boss. Got it. Bye, I love you." He kissed her on her forehead before heading out with his handler and cousin.

He was brought out of his reverie when he felt someone tapped his lap.

"RJ, aalis na tayo in a few minutes. I just need to go to the comfort room."

"Okay po Ate."

He took out his wallet and saw the polaroid he took of them while they were at the yacht this morning. He smiled while looking at the photo. This day was great. This day is one for the books.

"Lahat Maine kaya kong gawin, lahat kaya kong tiisin, because you make all the sacrifice, all the pain, all the waiting, worth it." ❤️
